    hedgehog

Cat food, but not fish varieties. Water not milk, and don't use flea spray on them as it will kill them. And believe it or not, keep it free from drafts.

    scum dog owners

Is there anywhere in cities for people to walk their dogs?
  5. Had the same last week, a young buck both ears perfectly sliced level... The wounds were not new and the silage had only just been cut. As Micky said, most likely to be other rabbits, I'm sure i heard somewhere the does sometimes do it with young in the nest?
  6. I don't think just walking them through sheep is enough. Putting the dog and sheep in positions which make a dog interested (eg sheep bouncing off fence, lone ewe in heavy cover) then checking your dog as it shows interest at these times is more beneficial. Weasle, my dog runs up to the dead ewes waiting for the knacker man, tail low and furiously wagging. Gives their muzzles a lick then looks positively distraught when they don't move
  7. observations over the years,i thought with few exceptions it some'd the breeds up surerly a large breed running against a smaller breed has obvious advantages/disadvantages i was just trying to rekindle the topic as in my opinion the whippet cross is taking the field as the out and out lurcher ie with the accepted quarry being only rabbits on a course anyway. A whippet may have it's quarry under pressure from the off, but not necessarily a cross, crossing can dilute the speed. And greys usually have a good initial acceleration. Other than that i read the rest of your post wrong .....
  8. I found the bags stuck together in a big lump in the bottom of the freezer Stig.
  9. You daft bugger, its not got a funny face, its a reflection in the glass
  10. Just like to cover all bases Gareth, very little goes in compared with the amount of meat, veg etc. I am always aware of something i was once told. If you only ate rabbit alone you would die of starvation.
  11. I used to weight it out, never do now, i just feed by eye, whatever the dogs do or don't need, but roughly 1/2 lb per terrier, 3/4 lb whippet and up to 2lb for the lurcher. I don't add anything for crunch, they don't need it. They also get lamb bones at other times, dry food, tinned food, bought in raw food...tripe etc. But their main diet is home made and other raw, mainly tripe. I soak the biscuit as i do not like what dry food does to dogs....makes them drink constantly, puts extra work on kidneys and internal organs. Plus when soaked it mixes up with the rest of the food better and does n
