    I dont think letting the dog on the settee has made him aggressive, fook me i would have been savaged years ago As others have said at 2yr old he is reaching maturity.     I agree John. Also why have so many sections for shooting? Can one not cover cover all aspects of shooting? Its a bit like having separate section for hunting rabbit, hare etc. Or different sections for bull x, sal cross etc in the running dog section. Some of the things pinned at the top of sections...i cannot see the point of, some of them, for example, do you actually work your dog or just talk about it (something like that) is it so important it needed to be pinned?

    When you were single and in the pubs, i was out with the dogs Testosterone my arse....perhaps a desire to work dogs, to see the dogs doing well, and to treat prey with the respect it deserves. It has nothing at all to do with testosterone or being hard nosed. A person, male or female needs compassion & emotion to do the job properly. Plus if you have dogs for the jobs, you dont have to dispatch that often You wont find me in a dark alley, father always taught me to stay away from them, never know what kind of weird men might be lurking in them

    Or perhaps just going with the times my friend I neuter all my bitches, yes it makes life easier, and yes it means i can work my dogs all year round if i want to, but it also prevent pyo and mammary tumour....and that is a fact. My simple view on things is....i got very good dogs without having to breed them myself (also got mediocre and crap ones) so there are enough people out there breeding good dogs if i want one, without adding to the already fit to burst lurcher population myself.     Not as lean as she used to be is not the same as putting on weight after a neuter At age 7 after pups she will be different, muscle mass changes as they get older, joints get stiffer, loads of reasons for her not being the same as she was. She would probably have looked the same as she does now if you had not neutered her Rocky
