  1. Smart pup. But if you're struggling to get her to retrieve I wouldn't even be thinking prey drive and bunny game yet? Nice pup tho.
  2. If you do complain just beware that you may be making a rod for your own back mate. I wouldn't trust them period. Yeah they'll close rank and it'll end up being your problem. Here's a scenario which took place in my own town a few months back. Woman gets caught shoplifting in Morrisons. Store detective and manager apprehend her. Police are called. Police arrive. Policeman discovers that the shoplifter is his wife. Policeman leaves store with his wife. No charges. I know someone who works there and they told me that the store detective had been watching her on two o
  3. It means asking youself why you are assuming that if a person donates something which may break on day one in its new home, that the person who gave it is somehow in the wrong when in fact their intentions were all right. And, since we are talking about motivations for doing something, you posed the question of "are people doing it to make themselves look good" when folk could assume that you started this thread (conciously or not) for the very same reason, ie, to make yourself look good. Fascinating how the mind works really, dont you think. chin chin Are you a phycoligist(or
  4. Shocking!!! Good luck to you mate. Take my hat off to you. Total respect.
  5. Yeah - I'm the same. Just out the door and a few yards either way.
  6. Dunno mate - let me have a look at one of mines when I get home at the end of the week. Can't understand it. I'll get back to you.

  7. Hi Mate - That's good. Hope you can use it. Make sure it's switched off before you charge it and charge it fully before you use it. Thanks Colin P.

  8. The hills south of Hawick in the Scottish Borders, Wyndburgh, Maiden Paps, The Leap, Great Moor, Caldcleuch Head, Penchrise Pen and Skelfhill Pen the summit of any of those on a good clear day is hard to beat. Proper Borderland.
  9. .. i would keep well away from livestock especially dark coloured lamb's till you think the dog is trust worthy.. but from experience i have found once they have a go they can never be trusted agian. The dog were stock broken years ago. Have to be with the ground i hunt. More sheep than grass....(and he sees lambs nearly every day of his life, while they are around, lol) He was confused i guess, as they are not dissimilar while being carried to a few other things they already run. Told once and thats him...And once he has the farmyard smell.... Same as chickens and hens, once
  10. Tried to send you a message but your inbox is full, I have Brian's details if you still need them as I hunt with him every week. I also have a litter of pure Nuttall pups if your interested, the grandfather is in my profile picture Hi there - I hope you don't mind me PM'ing you but I am looking for a terrier pup and have been for some time. Are all your puppies spoken for? How many do you have and if you have some and are going to sell/advertise them can you tell me a little about them. Failing the availability of a pup could you let me have Brian's contact details as I would like to ha
  11. I'm self-employed, work hard and I'm lucky I work outside so the dogs can come with me most of the time. Tell you what tho - I work to pay for my dogs keep and don't sit on my ass raking benefits in every week and having my dogs kept at the expense of the taxpayer...I f*****g deplore the benefits culture we have in this country which props up lazy, benefit grabbing, spongeing, won't work, morally bankrupt c**ts!!!!! AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pisses me right off!!!!!!!!! Are their dogs better than mines? Dunno and don't give a f**k. Mine's are all bought and pai
  12. I'd rather have a decent dog that was a good eater and good doer in general than an outstanding dog that picks at its food, eats little and has to be coaxed to eat. Had dogs like this in the past and it did my head in big time.
  13. I had a message from Ianb last week asking if I had two THL accounts from the one ISP? I replied that I have both my own and my 13-year-old son Jack the Lad from this same address. I wonder if they are trying to do away with folk having two usernames as there was a carry on with a guy called grafterman on the terrier section a few weeks back who was slagging others off and sticking up for himself using another account????
  14. Good news mate - he'll be up and about in no time and you'll have to be holding him back within the next wee while. All the best.
  15. Keep all in same freezer - different compartments all bagged. Hasn't done me any ill.
  16. I was told this many years ago by an old countryman as well - I was about 10 at the time and I was ferreting with him and even then I about pissed myself laughing at the thought - the thing was though that he believed it 100% and was quite pissed off that I was laughing at him. I wrote a short story many years later and included this in it. Still makes me laugh when I think of it and this must have happened over 35 years ago.
  17. Hi Moll - just checked the link. All looks good. Is the 500ml one serving or is this diluted with water? If so, how many servings do you get out of the 500ml bottle??? Thanks Hello BS, yes it is to be diluted, tells you on the bottle how much for what kind of activity (pre/post running, illnesses etc) So servings per bottle are hard for me to predict. Usually 5-10 ml per go. The bottle i have, i have had for a long time, i only use it for long nights out (Before/during/after), not when just mooching around the farm
  18. Same old same old with the vets - if they sort your probs out with the minimum of fuss and expense they're the best vet in the land but if things drag on or the beast snuffs it and it's costly they automatically become a rip off useless twat.
