nice looking pup i have a pup of the same age how come you wont be doing much with him this season atb oneshot Maybe that's how he chooses to enter his pups, this is where there are so many opinions on on running dogs, each has teir own way, and if it works for them, then who are we to say its wrong? IMO hes a good age for light duties, get him working the lamp things like that. no doubt he'll do a wee bit this season but next season will be the one to get him going that wee bit harder,

Have used vet wrap and that works well - the dog in my avatar had a dew claw almost ripped off years ago - vet removed it for about £30 - ha ha ha that was 25 years ago tho!!!! Talk to the vet and she what he/she says???

Check out Brad Pilon an American nutritionist's Eat Stop Eat views on fasting - really interesting stuff. A coulple of the guys I train with fast weekly and swear by it.

Most of the old shepherds I knew when I was 'herding used to feed their dogs 6 days week!!! But then again most of them fed a diet of flaked maize soaked in spare milk from the house cow - and if there was no spare milk it was soaked with hot water!!! Dining at the Ritz eh?

Apart from a wee beddy x whippet/greyhound I had in my teens I have always run collie greyhounds - all from Hancock - I'm in my mid 40s now and really never thought about running another x. However, we now have a 10 month old alaunt x 3/4 grey 1/4 bull. Worker to worker bred and we've had him since he was 8 weeks old. Buster is one of the most laid back individuals I have ever worked with - polar opposite from the norm - and so far, I'm well impressed in everything he has done. He's a clever dog. He's just over 26"tts and weighs 34kgs - he's a big boy - all legs and limbs - with a bit

What about when sheep fields are seperated from arable or fallow fields ? Rough land from cultivated land ? Here in Northumberland, (and most places I've ran in the UK), there are many fields seperated by fences and walls, and if a dog don't jump.....it don't catch ! Cheers. In my part of the world you would catch feck all if they weren't jumping - walls, rylock, 5 strand/rylock and barb or two barbs, electric fencing and rails and a bastardisation of everything inbetween...be some quiet nights with non leapers!!!!!

Never smoked it at all never felt the need. Know a few guys who do and - to a man - they've all got probs! Chicken and egg - dope = prpblems or problems = dope????? f**k knows and I don't really care. Wouldn't swap places with them tho????

In my opinion a good dog is a dog that makes old bones and one that, (when it's doddering about in its dotage) you look at him - even with failings or shortcomings - you desperately want to be able to turn the clock back and start all over again!!!! I'm lucky I've been there - a good dog!!!
