    Fecking toilet in the bathroom broke this morning. Its built in and no longer manufactured. One of our friends a plumber and he's disconnected it. The Insurance company will sort it, but I may have to alter my plans for the comp if It doesn't get cleared up this week. :censored:

    To anyone thinking of fishing the stretch of the Wye closest to our match, you cannot get day tickets on the bank, you can only buy them before hand at the Tourist office in Monmounth. ..............Thats if you were going to buy one in the first place of course.

    Not that iv'e seen and the river is very clear. Lots of Minnows in the side that seem to love Halibut groundbait, so plenty of baitfish. There's Grayling. But they are for another day, Iv'e never caught a Grayling. ...........I can feel another thread coming on.

    Fu*k me, am i on a downer. I managed to stay untill 4am. I was getting lots of liners around midnight, then had an almighty liner/bite whatever, that should have turned the baitrunner but didn't. I struck......and nothing. Cast back in and..........that was it for the rest of the night, apart from the odd small liner. Night fishing isn't my thing TBH, I'd rather be asleep. But looks like i'm going to have to do more night sessions if i want a Barbel. I can't really believe i missed the bite, if that's what it was. The baitrunner was set quite slack and it still didn't give line. Fook me th

    Same swim as last time. No work tomorrow so going to stay until I catch. LOL. I've spoken to another angler, he's had 3 fish this season, all taken during the night.
