  1. Friend at work had their dog DNA tested. Came back 1/2 Rat terrier. The other half was an Yorkie/Border Collie cross Nice dog though. http://www.wisdompanel.co.uk/breed_count_matters/rat-terrier1/
  2. There's a Travelodge in Lutterworth. Just down the road.
  3. You may need a Section 30. Not sure though. https://www.gov.uk/permission-to-move-live-fish-to-or-from-a-fishery
  4. Really rather jealous here............
  5. Here goes then. I'd bang in 1000 fish of 6" to 8" size. With maybe a few bigger specimens as well. Roach. Bream. Tench. Rudd. Crucians and some Gudgeon. If you fancy some colour, then some Orfe.
  6. If the lake is established, which it looks like it is, then there should be some food in there for the fish to feed on. Feeding them won't hurt. But what doesn't get eaten will stay in there. Plus the fish can get pre-occupied on what you are feeding, making it harder to catch on other baits. No easy answer. But I'd put some feed in.
  7. Only if I win...which is looking quite likely.
  8. http://www.quietsports.co.uk/faqs/faqs.html Have a look here.
  9. Bicep and Calf=17" Neck=19" Thats from being in the scrum when I played Rugby. Thumb end to Pinkie tip=9".........Thats me hand BTW. So i'm big boned and fat.
  10. True story this. A few years ago I was buying an oaky from the oakymon (icecream man). The chap in the van was of Asian decent. He was telling me about some youngsters who had shouted "You Paki bast*rd" at him earlier. As casual as you like, he said. "I wouldn't mind, but im not a Paki bast*rd. I'm an Indian bast*rd"
  11. He'll have to empty his in box before I can though. ;)
  12. I'm gonna PM Kev about it this weekend. I thought i'd leave it untill Christmas was over so as not to bore the ti*s off everyone who isn't into fishing. Whats everyones choice ?? It's been up here once, I don't mind it being up here again (Obviously) I don't mind where we go TBH. But is it only fair that we move it around abit so some people aren't always the ones doing the travelling. Thoughts ??
  13. it no longer exists ............Are you sure ?? I'd go and have a look if I were you.
  14. .........Then why doesn't the owner of this website come on and tell us that, rather than you ?? I'm of the "If you don't like it, don't read it" camp if i'm honest. But then again the site isn't what it was when I first joined. Hey Ho.
  15. Just measured my wrist.......8 1/2 inches. ..........Mind you, i'm a fat bast*rd.
  16. I always enjoy these threads. My type of dog TBH. Iv'e nothing against other Xs, just prefer the Collie. Excellent pictures. Keep um coming.
  17. Not to a "certain extent" ; to an absolute extent ! How can getting a customer to pay way over the odds be a "result" ? The vast majority of vets will overcharge as a matter of course , and if pet shops are employing professionals to con people into buying overpriced food by lying to them, they should be charged with the trades description act, and even the individual should be sanctioned by their professional body ! We get ripped off enough without pet shops and vets conspiring to fleece us ! Surley getting a dog owner that thinks Bakers is the best food to give their dog to at least
  18. To a certain extent thats right. Iv'e had big arguements with her about feeding dogs. But when she has got someone to buy Wainwrights kibble instead of Bakers that has to be a result. They sell RAW too, unfortunatly, not many dog owners that use the store want the "hassle" of it.
  19. No need. If I give her a shout you can talk to her now, she's only upstairs. My daughter is a Nutritionist for P@H and while I don't always agree with all that she's been TAUGHT. She does have some knowledge of diet. The Nutritionist at P@H are told what to say, and what to try and sell. Most dog owners that use the store want convience, and not always what is best for their dog. .........As an aside. Pets at Home donate lots of money and all damaged goods to a local rescue centre, and they are a good company to work for.
  20. Nice find. Could do with a few of them near me. Might stop the 105 houses being built in the fields by us.
  21. I just take Fruit. No brekkie, and we drink lots of Tea during the day.
  22. so does electric shock treatment Not in my (our) experiance it doesn't. ECT can leave someone with short term memory loss, and the person having it needs to be put under. Hasn't worked in this house. Wouldn't recommend it. To much to go wrong if the Doctors doing it aren't paying enough attention. Believe me.
  23. Too true. My missus suffers badly with depression, has done for years. Not nice for either partner.
  24. Repairing Iphones ?? Iv'e changed one or two bits on mine, fecking difficult with hands like mine. Buy broken ones and get the bits off the 'bay. Fix them up and sell them on. Still a call for the 4.
