  8. there are a few diesel ones about they use the 1000cc daihatsu engine. also seen them with the vw 1.9 lump fitted
  9. if you go for one get the older version , the 2 wheel drive ones will go anywhere. it's like every thing with a engine!!! look after it and fix it right then it;s there to enjoy. there is so much you can do to them to improve the running etc. early ones are 6 volt so that's the first change to 12 volt. etc there is a good forum for them as well. i will try and find it.......
  10. i had a old dnepr 650 with 2 wheel drive, loved it wife hated it as the chair was on the off side. cant find any photos now. but it was all grey like the german army ones 2ww. parts easy to get from russia etc.... was going to get a 750 bmw engine fitted... but a hardtail chop took my fancy so sold it.....

  17. i remember pearsons shop at the top of bedford street. the window was full of all types of knives!!!!! i got my first sheath knife from there which my dad bought. today the shop would be closed down showing its stock like that. axes, billhooks you name it it was there. like the work you have done. bit like the army type jack knife i have a few of them
