    Aigle are the comfiest I've had. But dont give that much support around the footbed. Try Lacrosse. Very sturdy for a rubber boot, and a hard wearing sole. Not overly warm to work in in spring and autumn too

    i'm 4. Fantastic wife. No kids, not 'cos we can't, just that we cant stand 'em. After 20 years doing a job that paid very well, but one that I hated, I have pulled the plug on it all and gone into semi retirement. I took me 20 years to discover I was born to do a job that entails a wash after work, not before you leave for work.

    Just sold my healthcare company. So have gone back to working on the land. Next project is building an equestrian centre for rich tarts

    They're doing that already and I havent even started doing owt yet.. They go out in the garden and bring anything and everything back in from leaves to bits of cement and stones.. Im starting to teach one to come to be on command and and sit.. Hes took to the sit straight away but there both a bit excitable.. One question I do need to know though.. When should I start introducing them to the sound of a gun? I dont have a SGC as yet so couldnt use that so was thinking of using a starting pistol.. Would that work? Also maybe take them to the shooting club I go to but all the bangs at once mi

    Collies are good retrievers, I have used a few as gun dogs over the years. Beware that the collie brain can have a tendency to be obsessive. make sure that you add more to your training routine than just retrieving. otherwise they will fetch anything and everything at the expense of any other desired task. They will drive potty and never stop doing it. good luck!
