    It doesn't compare to anything we'll see in our day to day lives RH. Go and have a day in it, it's a nightmare to get your head around, I'm sure someone will let you see it in the flesh

    I'm not knocking a hard terrier, horses for courses, and fox control to me is fox control. Fatman, I've had just as many digs ruined by hard terriers than I have with soft terriers, sometimes it's just better to leave their game alone but be forceful in their approach.

    The man dug more than most could only dream of, they say madness is next to genius and he's as mad as a box of frogs. We've all got our own ideas on what suits us, some like them a bit rough, some like a steady terrier, the objective is to stay till dug to, regardless of style.

    Before the conspiracy theories kick in i mean he hid pups out of the way and he often wouldn't tell anyone how to connect the dots. He never wanted you to know each other, that way he'd hold all the aces and keep control, that didn't work out to well for him. There's many a kennel of terriers that owe a debt of gratitude to his kennel, DF's kennel and so on, but I'm a chicken and the egg sort of man. Without NS getting the blood off others, he'd be just another run of the mill terrier man.

    We only saw what he wanted us to see, he was a master at keeping his cards close to his chest. The first dog i had "Toby" was from the Choker x Mo mating, full brother to sister mating, i couldn't span him unless i kept him in working condition. He'd be as big if not bigger than anything I've got now, Gary said it right many years ago, " you only heard about the weddings, not the funerals​" !

    I was waiting for you to say that Glyn, i never forget what people tell me about terriers, anything else goes over my head, but not the terriers. I asked Tony for the breeding of him and maybe a picture, none were given but both were promised.

    Dingo was used over Roxy, Dingo as you know Glyn was bought by DF off Tony Harper as a working terrier, so he's not DF breeding.

    He can call them what he wants, he feeds them. I dare say he doesn't call them anything but his terriers, it's other people who put labels on your kennels. The only person I've seen in modern times putting his name all over a breed is Booth, everytime he writes anything it's "Booths" this or "Booths" that. I think personally if you want to add your own name to a kennel of terriers then you're either a conceited twat, or an egotistical moron who's selling something to people that don't know any better.

    To be fair, he's been there from almost the start, he's got high standards and keeps a tidy kennels. Obviously I'm saying all of this through gritted teeth lol. I've kept the same family of dogs for more years than i care to mention, i still don't consider them "my" breeding. They'll be mine when i stop chasing shadows of dogs long since gone, or I'm starting to write a book

    I don't have the book, DF keeps a kennel of terriers that he inherited from NS. He's bred some himself and he's used his dogs over plenty of bitches, if that makes them his then Finlay bred terriers they are.

    It's the end of the season and everyone's getting depressed. Get out into the garden, it's a great stress reliever.

    I traveled two and a half hours today, I had a good day in good company. It would be better if it was just down the road though, I was suicidal driving home lol
