  1. Bought one for my Mrs, trigger is appalling! Sent it to Welsh Willie, trigger now way better than the rest of the rifle. Hopefully selling it this weekend, have now got her a hw99s in .177, should have done it in the first place.
  2. Good stuff that hydrogen peroxide! only messing jd.We don't see many different ones down this way, very coincidentally though I pulled out a silver one this afternoon on a new farm. My Mrs has a friend who found a dead apricot coloured one on her lawn, but that's it.
  3. I bought a huge can, wish someone had mentioned it smells like a southmead scuttlers flange.
  4. Not being funny, but wish there was a laughing my tits off emoticon! The obsession soon turns into something else when it's full time and the pressures on. But I wouldn't change a thing.
  5. Absolutely, I've always charged by the job. Both parties know where they stand from the off, no confusion or drama at cough up time.
  6. If your planning on charging by the mole instead of giving a proper quote for the job, don't stick dead moles in the traps, or take along dead moles to con the customer. Too many knobheads already taking the piss like this. Makes real mole men look bad through association.
  7. Clive, I think you ought to send a pair of the ss ones over for a professional verdict, lol. I won't even charge for this appraisal!
  8. i would have thought, it would have been a white wash answer, to leave, England's never looked so bad since joining the eu, now its a mess, all it did was open the flood gates for all the scum to come in, making us English people very unhappy, the goverment did nothing about them, and now its to late, i use to love being in England, just being English use to make me feel so proud, it was a strong powerful little island, now since being in the eu its taken away them feelings and made people feel very angry with how its all turned out, foreigners seem to have more rights than us in our own coun
  9. Omg! Your killing me. You don't use skins on Rhe faggots though? Or did I miss it?
  10. Haha, minds and all that! I've just been on the bay of evil looking at cs stocks. Trouble is I now think I'll buy one for one of my 99,s also.
  11. Thanks Rez! Yep typo! I am quite happy for it to be heavy, soak up a little bit more of the recoil. Having said that, my synthetic is not terribly resonating when fired. Obviously your one is .22, so will be sweeter shooting.
  12. I have one of these in the synthetic, I get on okay, ish with it, I'm now considering getting another but in wood. Seems to remember someone on here is a big advocate of this set up? If I get one it will be v-machd or similar to get the shot cycle as sweet and user friendly as possible. Anyone used both synthetic and wood .177 versions? Is there a vast difference.
  13. No Clive, we were talking about real pest controllers not automatons.
  14. Scobies for me too, used them for everything the last ten years or so.
  15. Well, I suppose my definition would be some one who's income relies on it, pays tax , has full business insurance, isn't a benefit claimant, I could go on but it would get very boring.
  16. Too far for me, domestic, usual customer at wits end. Only real moleys need apply thanks (I will look you up as it comes back on me).
  17. I sooooo woud like to trap and try a few! We come up to Coventry area a few times a year, obviously the area is criss crossed with canals, are there signals in the area? Cheers, J.
  18. Sm is absolutely correct, damned if I'm crawling around in lofts anymore, that's too much like work. The only reason I ever suit up these days is purely for theatrical effects for paying customers.
  19. Your seriously missing a trick there Clive! Wapsys are the bizz! Money for old rope!
  20. Well done Clive! It's so bloomin wet over here I'll be surprised if they mate at all. Doing my first full days moles tomorrow, normally I would have started in earnest six weeks ago. Flip side is though that the rats are biblical this year, so easier money. Every cloud and all that.
  21. Called out today for a wasp nest in a dog kennel, tried to put them off saying it would be dead, but they were having none of it. So I drive over and first thing I notice is wasps flying around the dog kennel, then I notice the two foot across ball shaped wasp nest in perfect condition??? Closer inspection reveals wasps wandering all over it. Rigged up, big bin liner over it and jobs a goodun! Latest I've ever done one before that was occupied was Christmas eve.
  22. Great post as always jd! It's about time you wrote another airgun book isn't it?
  23. As new, used twice, works perfectly. All bits n bobs present, comes with original battery and new lightweight one. Too much nv here, and just bought a d700. £360 f2f or £370 delivered, preferably in person though. Can get it to Bristol next week, or taunton, Dorset most weekend. Cheers, Jamie.
  24. Joyeux Noel Mon amie! Hope you have a great Christmas and a healthy new year.
