    That's what we did with Bill, but in his case the smell was not new. Looks good, could you give a review after a couple of trips, ie pointers as to whether it's hot or if debris clings to it, cheers Rich

    With the scope blurry, i could't make out the breed, but he was a big chappy, it's a good job i have to ring the farmer "on the day" if i want to go lamping. I would like to think he would inform me lol. On the other hand, i could always send Bill in to test the water

    Went out for a mooch last night, i wanted to try out my Hawke Panorama after having altered the parallax, so now i'm ok from 10yds to 55yds. Not much about as the fields have been cut,ripped, and now the hedges have been flailed,need a few days to settle. Only saw four rabbits, all out of range, disappeared when i was stalking them, getting dimpsy and as i went around a corner on some high ground, i saw him. He was four fields away in one of my favourite sniping fields, to cap it all, he was wearing a brown coat and standing upwind of the warren. (do you think i should have a word) I know ever

    Yes Bill mate, you showed me how to do it, again. It was a very enjoyable few hours (apart from the cows, as i had spent a fair old time getting into position) 10 mins and i hear heavy breathing behind me, so i had to parade across my stakeout and try somewhere else. If the weather stays good we'll be out again. Haven't told you this, but got feelers out for two more permissions, speaking to people down the RAFA club, cheers Rich

    I can vouch that the gun is shooting spot on, and that it was only "JB'd" a few months ago. A good bargain for someone, cheers Rich

    As per Moley, the Ultra is a very accurate, lightweight gun, had one for a while but did not get on with the MMC, cheers Rich
