Hi Bill, yes it was a good few hours, the weather was kind, and i even got my hat back, what a bonus.The permission is great, with plenty of bunnies, but getting wary as they've been hammered a bit (leave some for me)

There is a guide on the BSAOG on the stripping/service of the mags which is very good. I use the new (red) mags and you will always cycle a pellet, but i think there is a potential problem. This is down to the fact that there is pressure on the bolt when a pellet is chambered, and in my opinion will cause premature wear on the probe o-ring. The power increase will be caused by the fact that self indexing removes some of the pressure off the hammer
Of course something else you have to take into consideration, is the gun regged for consistancy, otherwise you have to find the sweet spot to be accurate
