  1. Green a very easy coulour to spot for a rabbit, there eyes are sensitive to this part of the coulour spectrum. apparently ! Thats second hand info, so may pay to look into it. Some good second hand n.v scopes are to be had for 300, have a good traul through the internet before parting with that kind of cash is my advice. Good luck with watever you decide .atb. .ste.

  7. I have nothing to say with regards to last nites shooting other than well done steve and grrrrrrr! I use no hold under at all, my scopes are zero'd at 29yds, the output is 10.7 ft lb, the zero is near the top of the trajectory curve, anything from 20yds to 35yds is near enough on the cross hairs, less than 20yds I start holding over and greater than 35yds I start holding over again, exaple 50yds 2md hold over, 15yds .5 md hold over. Does that make any sense to anyone or am I mad. I havent properly calibrated it but from bits of target shooting I have done thats what I am getting ro
  8. Steve who is that strapping lad in the fourth photo? Edited for back peddling .atb. .ste.
  9. No fags for me mate, smoke free! Steve, we have never had double figures there mate, im all for positive mental attitude but I realy dont know where your getting these feelings of double figures from lmao I would like to be wrong, we will see I suppose. With regards to the wind, it is up, however it will be used to eliminate sound and scent thus hopefully keeping ranges short so windage on the pellet will be little if any, only once have I stoped for wind and that was realy bad, low ground targets dont seem to be as mutch of a problem as roosting targets When windy. Altho if

  18. Good thinking, my mrs has a house key also so thats not a poblem, not sure she can be trusted with a key for the cupboard tho, anything could happen, my camo's may get washed and if she tidied it up id never find anything in there again, thats settled then, keep the spare at work Better get myself a lock then!! Wouldent want to get caught foul of the law, will that be enough tho as I would tear a hasp an lock of a wooden door and frame in under in a second if I realy wanted to get in, im a little confused!? What level of security are we talking here? Were talking gun cabinet really t
  19. Hi Ste. Hott dayum........No To be honest, I left him for the Buzzards or the Foxy fella. Got enough in the freezer at the mo. The nieghbours have had enough too May sound like a waste to most, but Im there for pest control, you can only eat and give away so many. Might have to have a word with the local butcher ATB. Bill. There is a bird of prey rescue centre 3miles from me who open to the public to fund there charity, I have often wonderd about asking them if the want any rabbits for the birds when I have spare, I dont know if they would use an un
  20. I appreciate what you are saying andy, my daughter is two, my rifle is un cocked, mag removed, safety on in a zipped up bag in a cupboard she can not open, projectiles well out of the way, I doubt she would be able to do anything to that rifle that would make it unsafe even if I handed it to her (obviously something I would never do, I dont think she has ever seen it to be honest) I am 100% sure no harm could come to my daughter and if I was not what kind of father would that make me?? I worry more about her chokeing on food or falling over and banging her head. I will be putting a loc
  21. My rifles are safe from my daughter, they are in a cupboard, wich at the moment she can not even reach the handle too, the pellets and mags ect are on the top shelf wich my mrs cant even reach lmao, does this constitute as secure from my child?? Obviously the second she may be able to reach the handle a hasp and padlock will be fitted, or will I have to do this now in accordance with the new law?? I have allways taken a common sense approach until now. .atb. .ste.
