  1. That is also a correct way to use it, but the further away the better in terms of angle to give more precice readings, I am opting for cylinder mounted as on top of the scope it gets in the way of the lamp, if behind its no good obviously, if in front it casts a shadow, not to mention its a bit tight for space up there, also you cant realy of set it as you want the lazer to travel perfectly up and down your vertical axies on the scope, those are the reasons I personaly would opt for mounting under the cylinder .atb. .ste.
  2. Hey aaton , Intresting post mate, I am in exactly the same position as you, looking for a lazer for range finding, si suggested the hawke lazer from uttings as being good, I am very intrested to see if anyone comes up with a way of mounting it to the cylinder as I want to do the same, Were probably looking at a contraption similar to a doctor bob but insted of a stud, a rail in its place. Will be keeping my eye on this thread Also will be watching out for yours and brads posts after your outing tomorow .atb. .ste.

Hey alex, bust realy knows his suff mate and you will probably find his diagnosis correct, try It If it is what bust says its probably the most simple fix ever I dont know mussle from cheek piece but this guy definatly does I have had a problem with my cocking bolt being loose when engaged, davy suggested I add an extra o ring and it worked a treat, heck he even braught one with him and poped it on for me when he came over. Get back on here if you dont get it sorted, id be surprised if bust is wrong tho .atb. .ste.
  10. Hey mate so glad you got that mate, well pleased for you, as for chrono, please dont take it to police or gun shop just incase as if its a touch over you wont walk out with it (i doubt it would be over but why risk it) Best of luck pal im sure someone will be happy to check it for you, im sure they will want a go aswel .atb. .ste.
  11. I have only just started doing mine, I wash as per everyone elses method then roll them around in a tea towel that I use to wipe my gun down with a light amount of low viscosity gun oil. ( I think low viscosity means dosent diesel ) as I hardly use any oil, it shouldent be a problem anyway. Have a go nothing to loose .atb. .ste.
  12. Absolutely sweet mate Looks great combines the handy smallness of the ultra with a very large shot count, bet it shoots like a dream Thanks for sharing. .atb. .ste.

  16. You sure about that mate? As for starting a debate, your the starter As for shooting buddy im playing skittles tonite, tomorow good tho if ur up for it Sory Millsy got a bit off track, what im saying is bag them squizzers mate, I havent tryed bait but they like the bird table in the garden so im sure it will work .atb. .ste.
  17. hi ste what you have said is correct but you cant control any pest with permission atb steve I know, birds you need a reason in accordance with the open licence, rats, squizzers and rabbits can be shot on sight, thats my interpritation anyway as they are a pest by virtue of what they are rather than what they are up to, as with birds they need to be up to mischief. If thats not right feel free to correct me. .atb. .ste. Greys- culled to protect native species. Bunnys- national clearance. Rats- filthy health risk. Thats just 3 reasons, there is lots more.
  18. Stick me down si, , on one condition. . . The backing track isnt sung by busted  or mc-fly for that matter .atb. .ste.
  19. grey Squirrels are like rats and technically dont need to be a nuicence as they are a general pest and need to be controlled to preserve our native species, if one ventured onto my permision it would meet lead (Thats my thaughts anyway) Why not try asking the owner of the wood if he feels he has a problem and request permission for a mooch .atb. .ste.
  20. Nice work buddy, spa for effort and write up, hope to see some good footage pal These two guys davy and si have put the hours in on paper and quarry and make it look easy, im sure you will find out soon it is very hard, practace is the key word Lots of paperwork (of the target kind) and some fine tuning of your set up and adjustment of your shooting style and you will do fine im sure. I recon its got to be like teaching yourself to shoot again from scratch tho, good luck buddy .atb. .ste.
  21. Grrrr, thats three!! .soz. .ste.
