    Salt on the roads and pavements can cause havoc with a dogs pads as the salt has a drying effect, try washing the pads after every walk during the winter and you could try applying petroleum jelly to act as a barrier against the effects of salt ,ice and snow

    Hi there after having a 10 year rest from the running dog scene I recently decided to purchase a pup and opted for a bitch of 8 weeks old, her dam being a whippet x greyhound and the sire being a bull x greyhound.She is now 6months old and I must say she is a joy to train , she has excellent recall, retrieves pretty much anything i throw for her and is generally eager to please. Cant wait to get her started, but will be very patient for a while yet Anyway thought Id introduce myself guys and my bitch [/img] [/img] Ade
