    I see Brian May esq on Question Time asked why wont Cameron give a referendum on fox hunting the panel appeared to ignore him, The sole reason he asks for a referendum is because fox hunting to hounds has such a negative image for the public and he knows they can swing a referendum.     yes they will then once all hunting and country pursuits are gone it will be to ban country music or to ban football as it encourages public disorder the list is endless. RSPCA needs to be cut off from its charity money then the divide and conquer principle is turned on the antis and the lacs.     The starting point to work from are the Game fairs, hunt meetings, fishing competitions farmers auctions,dog and horse shows field craft demonstrations any group remotely related to countryside pursuits this is where the work needs to be done to galvanise the ones who claim to already be involved in the sport. Unity sadly is the one vital element missing.     We want repeal not a vote simple the legality of the methods used to introduce the statute has to be challenged.     Horses are facing the same problem as dogs they are being bred indiscriminately so there is an excess off inferior stock around so the value has become worthless

    I asked you this already desertbred, maybe I just cant find it or im reading it wrong but could you show me where its says in black and white in the hunting act 2004 that its ILLEGAL for a lurcher to catch and dispatch a fox on the run in England or wales? If I remember rightly the act says it is illegal for any dog to pursue a land mammal unless excempt under certain sections of the Act now a lurcher coursing and killing a fox is not on the list of excemptions I dont think, but the only way to test this is to plead not guilty if some one is unfortunate enough to fall foul of this particul

    in order to prove a crime has been comitted under the hunting with dogs act The prosecution have to show you deliberately and intentionally slipped your dog on a mammal with the intention of your dog actually chasing it.in order to do this it would need actual video evidence of the actual slip or a eye witness ready to swear that they physically saw the slipping.
