The best lamping bitch I ever owned produced some of the finest lamping,ferreting,coursing,feather,teeth dogs ive ever seen in the field.One bitch at 9 months of age was taken out on her first lamping foray,above the quarry at threshfield,she caught 15 rabbits in her first night and started to run the beam after about 7 runs.That bitch caught thousands of rabbits in 3 seasons,her mother caught far more,as did her sister and a cousin later on.

Don,t get to hung up on nuggets like me mush,i don,t rate the dog as a catcher,if in my time that dog came my way as a lamping rabbit dog id have sold it to a pet home,if it came up as a video dog to educate future lurcher lampers id have shot it with a bow and blunt arrow.Don,t give up.

It does now,my favourite terrier was the Lakey when lakeys earnt their corn,id not own another as they are shite now,on the whole,i like bedlingtons as they suit my character,some see me as a braggard the bedlingtons I know say different,especially the last un,if she was to show my true character id be blessed.the ghost.

With all the worlds technology ive never been in a situation when I wished for its use in the use of my lurchers,the tinternet now is the focus for feckwit hunters and 4th rate lurchers,posts that are far from factual but basterdised and prostituted to make a silver purse out of a sows lug,the majority of lurchers and owners now would be seen for what they actually are in the cold light of honesty.The lurcher now is deemed as a secondary factor to the owners computer savvy and the majority of owners seek the tinternet to make up for their less than illustrious hunting lifestyle.

Ive owned a whippet that the top greyhound trainer in Lancashire paid top dollar for £13,thats a long time ago and a fact,id love to own her again,in all honesty id be pissed off with what she offered as a lurcher.

How many years experience do you own in running lurchers?,breeding,training,educating,entering?.If a fella as 5 decades of lurcher ownership and is now lurcherless does that now make him,or her,devoid of input on here now?

I don,t dislike whippets,quite the opposite,i have found them to be one of the most exhilerating hunting jukels,a full bag of tricks and for every second they hunt they are full of thrills and excitement,massively underated and undervalued.Yet they feck future breeding because they offer to much litter diversity,they are rodent dogs and folk want far more from the average lurcher,they have a massive reverse gear when pushed and have an aptitude to throw voicy litters.They offer far less,in lurcher production than nearly everything else,i really like whippets and would readily own another,id ne
