Who's Still Doing The Job Now Its Winter Then Lads?

If i ever get the luxury of owning a dog, better still one that may come to terms with a long gallop with fair law in winter, then i may drag myself up at some cold, wet and Un Godly hour and test the theory "that not only feckwits, numptys and inbred yokels"are fit to own a dog that ever gets out of the kennel.A computer screen needs little exercise, feeding and cleaning out. -
Forget what others are catching,be happy with the mutt at hand,2 or 3 rabbits from an average mutt you own,is more rewarding than 50 caught by another.

Plenty, most of them in this political climate won,t need to broadcast or seek publicity or cudos from their hunting lifestyle. As soon as i see certain individuals wanting recognition or their 15 minutes of fame, pre ban or not, what a sack of turds that makes them seem to be,then i know their real, often only reason for hunting with a lurcher,is the wrong one.Get the mutt in the field, let it stretch its legs, then,do the same again. surely people can talk about whatever they want if they want its a hunting forum, if they get banned from site then so be it, and im sure he asked who was shooting w -

Why would you want that sort of breeding in a runner?,what one side of the breeding gives, the other side counteracts.

Dubious, they would spend to much time arguing over what a Beddy type is capable of,then realise they are sat in the dark.

How many lurcher owners would it take to change a lightbulb,Whippety owners could not reach,Bull x owners don,t know what a lightbulb is,Saluki owners could,nt be bothered as it would detract them from their petty point picking, only The Collie bred owners would have the gumption to figure it out or change a fuse.

Its not really a working terrier then,is it?.

If you can,t sort a dog and girlfriend out and get them both trained, get shut.

I once bred a litter of lurchers,11 months later i still could not find a decent home for 2 dogs, plenty wanted them, but the right home was not there for them.A bloke i know contacted me,he took the dog for his lad,Gafer on here,£130 if i remember right, the dog was a blinder, its brother ended up in Barnsley to a lad that sounded and seemed genuine,it was then sold for good money to a lad in London and a week later for more money to a lad in Cornwall. Now i don,t take the same chances, the best bred dogs often end up with the worst type of owner, not always but on a far to regular occurence.

The last litter i bred 11 pups,2 for me 3 for mates, the rest we,ll never know,i know 5 ended up in honest homes and thats all that mattered to me,5 that would see out their days looked after, rather than some id never be sure about.Money, bollocks,it never paid for piece of mind.

If the main aim of breeding is to recoup the stud fee, then the breeding and purpose of it is flawed. never said it was about recouping the stud fee but once you have your own pup then why not sell them money allways comes in handy ,not saying it to sound like a peddler though Stud fee, feeding ,worming, electricity, cleaning, lack of sleep,worry,etc.etc.etc.Money never ever comes into the equation when breeding a litter,if the litters bred for the right reason. The right reason for breeding a litter does not have to be about £££,s,if it is the breeding is flawed and unworthy,as is the case with m

This is my point and the for sale section on here is giving the pedlars a captive audience travelled to shropshire for two pups £200 each i didnt mind it was the cross i wanted and of decent dogs.Next year the same boy same cross was asking £350 a pup and he coudldnt get rid of them hell slap it in to him got greedy like a few i know off Would they have been Deerhoundy/Collie type jukels?. beddy whippet greyhounds mate I travelled to the Shropshire/Wales border with a lad recently to obtain a Deerhoundy/Collie jukel, same county different lurcher, such is oft the case.

Pay what you believe the mutt will offer, the coursing stuff commands a price that does not equate to what the dog gives in the field, point slip and an often long gallop, the next day and the next and the next, pretty much the same,£1000 is not unusual for pups of this breeding.A collie cur,a whippety cross that works at different diciplines, works day and night, ferreting, lamping etc. etc. etc. will be available at todays price at about £150 a pup, does,nt seem unreasonable.its what the individual wants and expects from the jukel that governs the price, saying that a fool is easily parted from is do

There may be vestiges of the dogs once working ancestory waiting to be awoken.
