    Please excuse a couple of silly questions but I have no experience of either owning a bitch or keeping a dog and a bitch together so, if I went for a bitch how often do they come in season and for how long? Cheers.

    That's fast! which police force do you come under? I had my interview 6 weeks ago phoned yesterday to see roughly how much longer I might be waiting and the answer I got back was "how long is a piece of string?" Could be any day now or up to six months........

    Been considering a new pup for a while now... I have a 3 year old dog here that lives in with us and is sound....But has had a little growl up with other dogs as I'm sure most have. So dog with a dog or dog and a bitch...... Cheers.

    As has been said be straight up, there switched on people so will see straight through you if you start talking shit. If they ask you a question, and you don't know the answer just say you don't know, instead of blagging it and make your self look silly. The FEO came round for my interview a month ago and was a nice bloke and a wealth of knowledge. If you have any questions or are unsure of anything don't be scared to ask. That's what there are there for. I had a whole list of things jotted down so I didn't forget

    You will have a far better mutt if you concentrate all of your efforts on one pup, especially if your a first timer...If I were you iI would take one pup back to where you got them from and explain that to them.....I'm sure they will understand saying that, I wouldn't have given a first timer two pups.........     Pick up as many as you can to compare how they all feel.......My first gun cost me £200 (o/u 12g bettinsoli) second hand. I looked at some in a shop and none of them fit as good.....

    I agree, there are good and bad dogs just as there are people, and I agree that there is always "signs". You should be looking for those little tell tale signs whatever the breed. I also think lack of exercise and mental stimulation will bring out frustration.........Like has been said ticking time bomb.

    Have you had ricochets come back towards you? No, have you?, that was my point unless you are being cryptic?? It needs several impact point to create a 180 degree ricochet, ie, into a quarry or similar, or maybe you want to argue that too? The danger of a ricochet is largely one of hitting someone outside the line of fire, not in front of it. And yes of course I've seen that .50 video, only thing I can say is only in America What YOU should be asking yourself is why have I had ricochets coming back at me, and as the 50cal video shows, they all do it it if you
