This was his first serious accident. Very high pain tolerance as well, he was walking around whilst it was still broken with cast on as if nothing was wrong at all, took a few days before the orthopedic specialist could see him and operate

  7. Have absolutely no idea how it happened, let him out after dark with all my dads dogs and figure he jumped the fence wrong going after something in the dark, this dog doesnt show pain so to see his leg completely dangling was a bit of a shock tbh especially as he was acting as if there was absolutely nothing wrong. Off to my own local vet tonight to check wound as whilst it looks good hes out of antibiotics and theres a small bit of infection trying to set in. The vet who did the surgery is a specialist orthopedic vet in Ark veterinary clinic in galway by the name of james dunne, well wor

  10. last week my Dutch snapped his fibula and tibia, he is now on strict bed rest for the next 8wks, thought i would share the x-rays from the day after he broke his leg to the recent after surgery x-rays... there should be more x-rays in 8wks and if he doesn't get an infection or damage it again he should be fit to start training again in about 12wks

  15. Dont take offence to this please because im really interested but what your saying is you would want to live almost like a traveller except following the law? I wish i could live like a traveller moving around and not have many cares in the world. Is there many people turn to a travveller lifestyle and actually live comfortably? partly, i will be sticking around for a while because im looking after my parents and will have a young baby, i can buy land for 7-15k in spain and rural germany so wouldnt mid owning a couple plots here and there that i can park legally, grow fruit trees and veg an

  19. It couldnt possibly be a very mild seizure could it.. I have seen dogs obsessively licking their lips before having a fit as well, i would suggest just trying giving her omega 3 capsules in her dinner each day to see if that helps as it wont do any harm anyway omega 3 can help dogs with very mild epilepsy

  21. i havent read the entire post just a few bits of it, i dont know what the real story is im just glad i didnt donate towards this as i honestly was completely broke after giving a fairly large sum of money to a friend who really needed it just before christmas and i felt bad enough for not being able to help, i hope this was a misunderstanding tbvh
  22. where i live you need one, hes not a dog to leave to his own devices but if he wasnt here i would be in same boat as a few of my neighbours who have been robbed and some attacked in their own homes and left tied up + he is a lot more fun than a mastiff as im able to try my hand at pretty much any sport just for the hell of it because he is such a versatile animal we do IPO style training as well as agility, dock diving and play SAR type games with him and the kidsExactly Gem that's what I was getting at.Ive lost count of the amount of lads that have come to our club and decided they want a Mal
  23. the catholic church still has a very firm grip over Irish laws and politics, any who think it doesn't needs to read up on laws on marriage, divorce, wills, abortion, registering a baby and look at the hassle you get if you are an atheist trying to send your unbaptised child to your local school
  24. build a track for dirtbikes for you and the kid, buy a few paintball guns and clothing and have epic birthday parties... put a yurt in middle of it for weekend camping..
