I tend to gut in the field, makes them lighter to carry, plus leaving guts in, stinks, but once home, feet and head chopped off, fits in my chest freezer better, skins/fur left on, saves them icing/sticking together, as each rabbit (daily) is taken out and defrosted, it is skinned, the jack russel has the hind legs, the rest is chopped up, into chunks, inc kidneys/liver/heart/lungs and put in large bowl for the ferrets (9 in the court) the reason for this, rather than chuck in whole is simple, I want them all to feed, chucking in whole would mean the more dominant ferrets get feed first, leavi
