  1. pistols are ok for shooting rats in dustbins, Id say for indoor work its got to be a king ratcatcher, they can be customed up a bit, but for close up work they are Ideal
  2. why cant you gut and skin it yourself
  3. theres two ways to put up pictures 1, open an account (free) on www.photobucket.com you then upload your pictures there, then copy the URL , left click and drag the mouse across, then right click and copy then paste (right click on your mouse) within the body of your post, 2, donate £5 to the site, via the controls top right of page, you'll then have the ability to upload pictures straight from your computer to the post your writing, so much easier and quicker, it also gives you more picture space, meaning more pictures can be posted in each post whatever way you do it, make su

    hot?????

correct, a post with 30 plus replies, viewed alot becomes HOT
  5. have seen chocolate bunnies at easter, but never ferts
  6. we have hand wipes in the vans, but when your half a mile up a tunnel, shooting pidgeons in a snow tunnel, a quick fag can be had on the walk back, you can only carry so much gear to start with, remembering you will be carrying an extra 4 or 5 bags of pidgeons back too, its easy to get complacanant when working, and as you take more than 1 pair of latex gloves with you, its easy to have a fag inbetween a glove change am just trying to say, you can never be 100% safe, otherwise we'd never step foot outside the house, or do what we do
  7. you'll only need 6 poles, do a e bay search, or any farm equipment stockists near you, and get some electric fence poles, they are 21" long with a 6" steel spike on the bottom, worked well for me when I started, I then bought proper ones from MAGNUMS click the link on longnet start up page, they only cost around £3.50 each

    New forums

couple of reasons, firstly we can ban a members e mail address, they simply get another e mail address and re join under a different name, so the only way is to ban the IP address, thats where the trouble starts, as certain internet providers, aol for one, use the same IP address for more than one member, so us banning an individual, could infact ban 100's, secondly, as has been seen lots of times, you ban one member, only to get multiple topics started titled, wheres so and so gone, wanting to know the ins and outs of a ducks arse, and slatting the mod who issued the ban,
  12. sounds a good day, Im presuming only one collar was the reason to give them turns, rather than putting them both down at once
  13. Im not picking on you will, don't know you age, its you that digs your own hole, but try looking at it in a different scenario, a friend of my missus, has just lost his whole arm in a motorcycle acciedent, if on his recovery, he wanted to go ferreting, you'd be calling him a wa**er, for using a priest so using a priest is not for you, Im just saying, dont slate others for using different options, were looking at it from a humane dispatch point of view, where its obvious your looking at it from a "Im a man point of view"
  14. this post has had a few replies from members that find they cant quite master the pulling technique, but they have taken the approach that hunted quarry deserves a humane dispatch, therefore using a priest, which is a recognised means of dispatch, all you can do my long haired friend is try to belittle them with your above post, maybe I should have pm'd you the bollocks, rather than posting it, as all your trying to do now, is make it look like you were joking, I think not, prehaps we should carry on this debate via pm's rather than here
  15. I have put the post back up in the ferreting section in the pinned topic at top of page, 12 pages for you to read through, this unit is ABSOLUTLY NO GOOD FOR UNDERGROUND WORK, I was sent a free unit to test out, which I did, as an above ground locator for ferrets in deep undergrowth its worth its weight in gold, end off
  16. MAGNUM'S, click the link on the title page of longnetting section
  17. bollocks, you talk some crap sometimes so, your admitting you were talking crap, enough said
  18. I got mine from e bay £127 with free postage
  19. bollocks, you talk some crap sometimes
  20. oh and put some curtains up while your about it come on, concrete has been used for years, our floors, dog runs, ferret courts, have you noticed an influx of stories in the paper of humans and animals with burnt feet just make sure its gone off good and proper, before introducing the ferrets back in, paint it with floor paint if your overly worried, or take our word for it my outside court floor, yes its concrete
  21. good on you for getting a section on feather, heres a few piccy's, the chickens are all ex battery, although we start off getting good eggs daily, they have dropped down to between one to four eggs, so we need to invest in a few more, the missus wants some winedots(spelling ) and by all accounts, the duck is here for xmas dinner
  22. I'm proud of mine too, but I'll get called names if I do that
  23. 3 pages, thought this would get mentioned sooner
