  1. top marks for getting a proffessional in, but your posting on a hunting forum, that has a pest control section, and quite a few pesties, would'ent it be a better idea to ask here, if anyones in your area, might even save you a few quid
  2. if it was secondary poisoning from poisoned rats, he'd have to eat quite a few off them to get it in his system

    Question

no mate, Id tell them to read all the old posts on here, as the question has been asked many times before, the same as all the other questions, why waste time writing an essay, when theres plenty already here, if someone is serious about something they will do the research, so someone asking me how to control rabbits, would get a simple explanation from me on, gassing, live catch, shooting, hawking, ferreting etc, which hopefully would then see them asking more about one particular method, to get more info on, rather than me writing an essay on each subject, in future I'll simple direct them
  5. mate, use it from the start, turned up full blast, lets say your 10ft away from a collar/fert, but of course you dont know if its left/right/forward or back from where your standing, slowly turn the knob so the bleepings just cuts out, now take a step, forward/or left/or right/or back, the bleeps will only start when your going towards the collar, each couple of steps, turn the knob to cut out the bleeps, again moving only in the direction that starts the bleeps, bleeping,
  6. unless your going to pick up a e bay special close to the land you want to keep it on, remember about transport/trailer costs, as you can be sure that spending that sort of money, aint going to make it roadworthy

    Question

like anything mole catcher, I wasent going to write an essay on the subject of both types, was just trying to put in in plain english, once the member has chosen a preferred method, he can locate more information
  9. yup, thats how I started mate, had the longnet already, bought some magnum poles and a basket and set it up in the garden (long garden) still use it most trips out just check how much bagging in length you have on your net, 25,50 or 100%, as I thought I has 100% and therefore put 100% of net between each 5yd pole, by the time I got to the end, it was apparent it was only holding 75% so had to undo it and start again

    Question

traditional, you'd have a 50yd net, end pins and poles, either hazel or fibre glass, put end pin in ground, stretch net out, inserting a pole at any corners, put other end pin in ground, walk back put rest of poles in, quickset, poles are fixed to net, all held in a basket, no pins, first pole gets pushed in, walk backwards, feeding net out as you go,inserting poles as they raise out of the basket untill all net out,

  21. quite simply mate, enoughs enough, quite a few had posted court pictures, and the guy wanted more, a simple search would have bought up loads, as this topic has been done so many times in the past, yet that seemed to hard, the member wanted to learn about ferreting, well asking for pictures of courts and rabbit prices aint going to teach anyone about ferreting
  22. dont know about maps, but try google earth, could then copy the paths needed
