    if a dog is wrong side of wind or doesnt wind fox/ rabbit on his side of hedge he will pass it.i always like dog in cover searching for scent not walking a long on outside waiting till they get a blow. ive seen dogs in both cases the dog in ditch more often finds way more regularly.ive also seen dogs on outside hunt brilliant once fox is found and started for them. imo its vital to have a dog in hedge/cover constantly. jmo. p.s if they dont find him they can't hunt him thats why I like dog in searching the whole time. .

    I love a realist fair play mate. seen a fox yesterday under serious pressure from full pack of hounds and nearly ran into us standing there watching hounds he just turned up thru cover and took hounds around for few more mins before going to ground. cool as ice the fuckers.

    I do get them and smash up all the bones and joints wit small hatchet dogs love all the marrow and thrive on them plus they find it easier to eat everything.
