  1. me and the mate were out one night when this beam of light appeared from the sky,a strange looking creature came down the beam of light and landed right in front of us, he had a couple of bull x,s with him,we greeted him and shook hands then he asked where can i find some puma,we politely told him he had touched down in the wrong country.so we sent him down the A1 as the lads down there would have a better idea where to find some.has anybody encountered this creature. P.S.he had SPACE tattooed on his forehead.

  3. me and the mate once saw a one eared,one eyed,one legged hare one night,the mates dog still couldn,t catch it.

  6. i was thinking of getting a pressure cooker for cooking rabbit etc,mainly for the dogs,but don,t know much about them,except they cook the meat quickly,is that correct,any information appreciated.
  7. i was out shooting with an air rifle over twenty years ago,i was hiding in cover opposite a grass hill waiting for rabbits to come out to feed when a young couple ccame along and started going at it directly opposite me the guys wee arse was going like the clappers and it was directly in my line of fire . i was very tempted to pull the trigger but decided to leave them in peace and made an exit.
  8. i took up ferreting twenty five years ago and i have never used a locator or a spade,i have never lost a ferret,on a handful of occasions i have had to block up the holes and go back later in the day or next morning but usually i don,t have to many problems. at twelve years old you should pick up the basics very quickly,i,m sure you will have a great time,good luck.
  9. personnaly i like some collie blood in the mix,makes the dog more biddable.
  10. my mate had acollie a few years ago and it used to catch everything regularly,pheasant,partridge,rabbits,hare,etc,used cunning and brains,a joy to witness, how old is your collie
  11. read afew books,pick [bANNED TEXT] pup,put in the training,be patient,u may not get a world beater but your dog will repay u if u put the time in.atb

  14. the doctors asked me if my mum wanted to donate,so i gave permission,hope it gives other people some benefit,she would have liked that.

    may not be the right place for which i apolagise,just lost my mum to massive brain heamorage,makes you think what it,s all about, your only here once,going to do what i love doing,hunting wi the dugs and ferrets,nobodys going to tell me what i can and can,t do, feck the ban i,m going to be ootside all winter in the countryside,feeling alive,just try and stop me,freedom. I,ll see you on the other side mum,god bless.

  19. don,t worry about not connecting properly,inexperienced dogs will sometimes try to swipe at the quarry with their paws etc but they soon learn to to get a grip,don,t get frustrated,sounds to me they should be ok just keep at it.atb.
  20. remember to crouch down when calling him back and when he does come back make a big fuss of him,never chase the dog,just thinks its agame.atb
  21. theres also a chance of the ferret getting cuaught up in tree roots etc,not worth the risk
