    i prefer collie greyhound bred for all round work,however iwould like to try some whippet in the mix,the main thing is to put loads of time in training your pup whateever the mix and the dog will repay you. good luck

    start taking your pup with you as much as possible when u leave the house,walks along the high st, etc,start mingling with people and other dogsthis will help with timidness. i have collie bred lurcher and started doing this as soon as she had her jags.she is now rock steady.

    shouldn,t be any problems putting together right away,handle them as much as poss,don,t draw your hand away when she trys to bite,it won,t be painful at that age,only testing like apup would. atb.

    and whats wi these folk who lift there dogs up everytime they see a greyhoundy thing coming towards them. ignorent, whose dogs are wasted bcause of there lack of knowledge,sorry for rant but gets on my goat.

    enjoyable read,two young ones in local field this smmer, don,t think they,l be their next year. caught one 20yrs ago with my first lurcher, brings back good memorys. cheers

    if you look back my original comment was on the video which doesn,t look like the fens to me. i,m just new here and didn,t join this forum to argue about who,s got best dugs,seems like nearly everyone on this site wants to argue and i got drawn in must be the heat,roll on the winter don,t course hares, theres a feckin ban

    no such thing,everybody has different idea.if you put time in training your own type of dog its always going to repay you,accept it for what it is,a dugs a dug.

    don,t need big lands to see a dog working,just because i don,t run saluki types doesn,t mean ilive in a bubble. have a good friend who owns saluki types and appreciate their capabilitys.
