    100 % GD. there is more black shite than Lakeland and Russell . down to how many people are just breeding , for pets or for money..... in my opinion anyway. if you aren’t known , known to be working terriers .... you try and buy a black dog for work. ive bought loads of nice dogs for work but been no good. ive been lucky enough to be given some right misfits that have been everything I wanted . Blacks are going same way as whites and black n tan. It’s the way things are I expect, line bred or nothing is the way to go ? ATB T

    I think everyone would agree with what you say mate. these bedlingtons are crosses though. they have an obvious look of a bedlington but there is a healthy splash of lakey / fell .... dare I say it patterdale. even Newcombe pepped em up a bit. nowt wrong with that at all.... I’m 100% all for it ......shame the gene pool isn’t bigger with less need for out crossing so much. mortons bedlingtons do work , I’m not questioning that ATB ... TonyT

    I’m sure this has been exhausted in the past but........ ive a psychotic pup , and I’m fancying a bit of pest control on the old long tails. years ago I had a propane smoker which did ok to be fair. I also had a couple of small ferrets ...which were better . ive tried to find one but looks like they’re out of vogue , It’s been a while . any ideas gents where I can get something. I've seen some serious ratting on here so hopefully Someone might be able to point me in right direction . ATB ... T

    Never been out with Morton , or his son , but Mates of mine have. they work fox only above and below. don’t know the percentage of fell type , and bedlington terrier but they look like small bedlingtons with straight backs . ATB ... Tony
