Some people want the biggest the strongest stuff possible quickly. Like drinking, you won't see youngsters going out for a few pints, it has to be shots of this, that, or the other, that's jimo. I know lads, and family members who smoke regular, and some who drink. You can actually see the difference in them. Atb j

Can't understand why they haven't already, especially with all the research over the years been done. Did you ever seen that documentary about the 4th of July, in the states. Cops, sheriff's and hospital staff and doctors, all said, ban alcohol and legalise weed, then crime would drop dramatically. Atb j

That's prime land, in the hearth of farming country. All we have is little fields surounded by Heather rocks and furzes lol. I remember years ago a friend from ballycastle was asking me about farming here, he wouldn't belive we don't do silage, he's a silage contractor and dairy farmer. He came down for a weekend, and filmed the places, because they wouldn't belive him back home LOL Atb j

Thats some price for a smsll bit of land, espically with no road access. No hope of planning permission so ? There's a house beside me for sale. 12 acres. Big house. Big out buildings and a garage, just over 200k. And that's expensive for here. Atb j

What would 8 to 10 acres cost you where you live vfr400boy. Atb j

To be reasonably self sufficient, you don't need a lot of land. If your only doing it for your families needs, 8 to 10 acres will do. Just enough to raise a couple of pigs, goats for milk and meat, fowl and a hefier for the freezer. With polytunnels and new ways for growing veg, it makes things a lot easier. Also if you live by the coast, a small boat would be a serious advantage, for pots and line fishing. Atb j

A Virginia State trooper pulled a car over on I-64 about 2 miles south of the Virginia/West Virginia State line. When the trooper asked the driver why he was speeding, the driver said he was a Magician and Juggler and was on his way to Beckley, WV to do a show at the Shrine Circus. He didn't want to be late. The trooper told the driver he was fascinated by juggling and said if the driver would do a little juggling for him then he wouldn't give him a ticket. No he was just sopporting himself on the boundary wall between myself and my neighbours. That's one thing we don't really have here, well whete I am, is trespassing, we can walk across our neighbours land with out any issiue, and shoot on it as well. I never heard of anyone having any problems in that area. Only if you were asked not too, which then is fair enough. Atb j
