Do you believe that it has a lot to do with the guilt thing that seems to be settling in. Or that everyone now has this urge to be seen to be doing the right thing, helping out the less fortunate, to make themselves feel better in some way. But as long as their not next door. Atb j

I'm a very strong believe in looking after your own people first, and not to get involved in others problems. This country (ireland) is only a drop in the ocean compared to the U.S., and it still can't get it's house in order. For me it's mind boggling. Atb j

But why is it, and can it not be changed. Ignorance is bliss they say, and it's easy for me to talk, I have no concept of what it's like in the UK, I was never there. But I wouldn't like to see my own country go the same route. Atb j
