    it's the same up here mate, everywhere i go there is myxi, the best that you can hope for really is that there are a few that are immune and they breed up again, i have the pup out a few days a week on them, gives her a bit of confidence, so it's not a lost cause. Another thing that he could do, is kill all the mxy ones and isolate it as much as possible, so it does not spread. its spread by ticks,mites and fleas so no ammount of isolation will work it just has to run its course yes, your right, well its spread by fleas, but i have found in the passed, this has wo

    i thaut live vaccines have been around for ages? Nobivac parvo-c is a live vaccine, if you look at the clinical data it states the immunity lasts for at least 3 years. the reason its called live is because its a small dose of the actual illness that you want them to get immunity to and can be shed in small amounts for 8 days after vaccination and the animal can show symptoms of the illness vaccinated against, most vaccines start out as live vaccines. the safer vaccines are now killed so there is no risk of shedding the disease/virus after vaccination or showing the clinical symptoms of the ill

    well, some do some dont. they are not bred for fox. but, some whippets are hard and the odd one takes them single handed. personally, i would not run my whippet single handed on one. the ones my whippet get, are usually with my lurcher. its not just the dog, sometimes, you can get some bloody hard foxes!! that can fight hard and puncture/rip a dog up bad! if a whippet on its own, came across one of these and you had no strong stick to kill the fox, your whippet could be in trouble!! just my experience on the matter.

    the good ones do well over here in Ireland. seen a few run on long ears back in the early 90's, they took a good few. where did you get your pup if you dont mind me asking? good luck with him..

    the ones i seen on his dvd, kelpie x grew, were pretty good i thought and nice looking dogs. dont know what his whippets are like though, sounds like a new thing his running, as he allways had collie/kelpie crosses.

    I have a brother in law in oz and they are hated over their by a lot of folks, as they kill all the native birds and wildlife! After dark in oz, any cat found wondering, is killed! They are the no 1 pest, over their!! We once had a thriving song bird population in out garden, due to some luthianians moving in next door and feeding all the stray cats and letting them breed like rabbits, they have all vanished!! The list goes on, but i wont bore you all to death!! Sorry, nothing personal, but i really, hate cats!!!
