Nice to see You have the makings of a cracking little team. That is what I am after. My lurcher is only young at 5 1/2 months himself so I am no rush at the moment, but I am on the look out for the right dog so they work along side one another over the coming years. I know it will be harder work having two young dogs, but surely they will bond better and learn from each other, as Yours are begining to do Thorny Cheers mate, they should turn out fine, it is harder work with the 2 obviously I'm having to take the pup out on her own training her a little bit cause the jrt is so dominant,

MY 2, 3/4 whip 1/4 beddy and my jrt, the jrt is coming on well this season she marks well, works all cover well, is good with the ferrets and is non stop all day long first out and last in every time. The down sides are she can work to far on and she's really headstong, if she's on a scent obediance goes out of the window, she's caught a couple of rabbits whilst ferreting and is far from soft mouthed ( they dont go to the butchers only good for the ferrets) .We were out first thing this morning and the 2 are beginning to show good signs the jrt bolted a couple of rabbits the first the young l

spot on mate, as most know ive got 1x collie grey 25in 60lb 3 1/2 year old brill rabbit dog day+night. And as 1xs go he is racey + fast and very agile and not bad stamina,so i might have been lucky with Bryn the other dog is colliexgrey x saluki grey thats a nice dog that thanks lads gotta agree bird ,great looking dog, seen these photos a couple of times now but aint tired of em at all

i sent you pm lad as there is no hurry i got 2 there and if im through your way i will hand them in if ok atleast you will have one for when your dog is up i got loads of leads collars ect? got few ghound leads and collars there aswell i send you few pics by pm and take your pic nice touch mate we all got to start somewhere yeah definately mate, I'm forever thankful to the old boys who took me out as a kid and helped me out, at 34 now I'm getting my lad into it he's only 5 but loves it, you never forget the blokes who help you out as a kid

like that little dog sky cat I am considering putting a whippet with my jrt in the future, she,s performing well ferreting and is as game as they come ( sometimes a little too eager but time will hopefully correct that) she's quite leggy so maybe give her another season or 2 and see how she goes, I've got myself a 3/4 whip 1/4 bed she's around 18" tts now at 6mnths so I hope she's gonna be a bit more of an alrounder as far as rabbits are cocerned , lamping and ferreting + a bit of daytime mooching with the jrt. I would agree with that I had my beddy whip on a job with me on a farm recently the farmer was so taken with her I've now got permission for ferreting and lamping with her there, she was spot on around his dairy herd for the couple of days we were there. She's a bit young for the lamp yet but i'll be up there with the ferrets once the snows gone. It's also a good size dog if ,like mine, they're living indoors. I would also add mine is no better stock broken than my freiends dogs who are much bigger dogs, but it's maybe less intimadating for some farmers than other types when trying to get ne

few pics of mine 3/4 whip 1/4 beddy ( sister to troters pup) she's just 6 mnths and around 18tts. Really bright pup settled well to living in the house and spot on with my jack russel easily broken to the ferrets and livestock in the few times she's been out with the ferrets shown a lot of interest and copied the jack russel in marking well. I may need to start taking her out on her own a bit now because my jrt is so dominant and I dont want the pup to be in her shadow as she can take a back seat a little. I'm hoping to give her a look with the lamp after christmas going out with an experianc

did you get the dog from somerset by any chance, my brothers is the same age parents both full on workers and the pup is a complete head case too, bullies my 6mnth old pup and even tries it on with my jrt until she's put in her place hopefully she'll calm a bit over the next few months. It was a great day today, was out first thing with my little boy , my brother, bullseye71 and and Dave, one of my oldest friends , for a days ferreting. It was Dave who first took me hunting, fishing and anything else really from about 6 years old I owe him a huge debt for the time he spent with me as a kid (every weekend at least) thanks mate. Just recently he's been really un-well and now we've beeen told it's only a matter of time so it meant a lot to me and my brother for him to come out today and even more so as my little boy Fin was there too. cheers neither of the dogs are out with the ferrets unless i'm there ( they both live indoors) and it's only whilst I watch them that they will feed together there both rock steady with the ferrets but I still wouldn't take the risk
