    I forgot a classic my brother done, went to watch " some band called Cold Play" before Yellow was released they were playing in The Cavern in Exeter, a little, smelly venue. After the gig Phil ( my bro) got talking to Chris Martin, they were talking about trying to get there in bands Chris Martin turned round to Phil and said "we're about to make it" Phil put his arm around Chris's shoulder and said " Yeah, We're all going to make it" We're still roofing and doing the odd gig, Chris Martins Sh*ggin Gwyneth Paltrow and earning millions....................lol

    My old man had a pub in North Devon and Damien Hirst has a house there. One night my mate done a disco in the pub and Damien Hirst, Keith Allen and Joe Strummer were there, Keith Allen got up and sang Vindaloo over the disco fuc*ing about and they all signed my mates copy. Seen Keith Allen a few times there , Lily Allen was in once never saw her though my old man said she was nice enough. Damien Hirst was in fairly regular and dads got a picture he done on the bar of my dad, mum and a close friend all in a scribble when you stand back you can see their faces, clever, he signed that for my dad

    Good write up mate and good looking land, gonna be having my first trip on some new permission this weekend coming, the farmer has told me it's crawling.......we'll see.... can't wait either way.

    Iam with you on that one , as long as there a barrier between me & the animals I am fine , but if i am out & a horse appears I am quite pathetic I can't get anywhere near a horse anymore, I don't even like driving past them because I think they will spaz out The only reason i have developed a phobia is because on a ferreting trip there was some hay in the ferret box & the horses in the field got the hay out the box & wrecked it , totally dismantled it , then they crowded round me , walking side on to me that was it , hyper ventilating , tears the lot, i craw

    Don't know what the pups will be like, thats the chance you take, but those 2 dogs look cracking mate.

    Shopping trolley Nice one mate, I'm sure a lot of my current back problems have more to do with walking miles as a youngster with any type of battery that worked on my back, rather than the last 15 years of roofing.

    Tried 2 places last night for 4 rabbits, found you would walk 3-4 fields and not see a rabbit and the next would have a fair few in, I'd say she had around 12 runs she's only young so a more experianced dog would probably have done better, should've been 5 but she caught 1 through the sheep fence and dropped it trying to pull it through. But for 3.5 hrs lamping I would have hoped to have seen more.

    Cheers iworkwhippets Cheers Bill, yeah was loads of wind but real clear sky with big moon, she ran well though couldn't get her on as much as I had hoped but that the way it goes. Were you ou tonight mate?

    Was talking to my mum the other day about the amount of trouseres I got through as a youngster, the back of the legs burnt through with acid from the old batteries. Don't remeber ever buying a lamp back then they were either made or borrowed never to be returned.

    Just in, she had 4 rabbits tonight, seem to be a bit patchy, can walk 3 or 4 fields and see hardly any then the next field be a fair few in. Still enjoyable night and her retrieve is getting better everytime. Seen a fair bit of bigger game tonight I left it for the men with pre ban bigger dogs

    Proper blowing a mad one tonight, had a mad day at work and a heavy day tommorow, but this wind is dragging me out. Good luck to anyone thats out

    Needles without a doubt.... couple of times I've had blood tests nearly fainted.
