  1. It can take a bit to get your head around a river but they're far more rewarding than ponds IMO.. Keep it simple, keep trickling in the bait and the fish will come... Get a day out with Arch of Mick and have a look at how they fish ( they're both very different anglers) it'll give you a few tips...
  2. That's the way mate, nothing better when all of they're mates are lapping it up and they're cringing in the corner lol..
  3. Just thought of another time gnash.. We took the kids ice skating with my in laws, my father in law was telling us what a great roller skater he was back in the day...next thing he's wooshing around the rink like a rocket, I'm going round like I've shit myself lol.. He's getting quicker " Kev" he shouts " watch this" he goes to to spin round backwards and goes up in the air about 5ft and down in a heap..." Owwwwllll" lol A couple of broken ribs slowed him down a bit .. Granddaddy cool lol
  4. . Me and the wife were sat outside a cafe on the river the other week, when a bloke, must've been 45, rolls in on roller skates, proper skates with the tongues hanging out lol... I see a lot if older blokes on those long share boards... I'm definitely not that cool lol
  5. I'm guessing you went with mick c?? Keep at it mate it'll come together..... There's always something to learn mate

  9. 38 eh Wilf, well I'm nearly there and the missus keeps saying your just like your Dad.., lol.. I've just told her she's got to get the nail varnish of her nails to go back to school tomorrow, her and the wife ganged up and said its nothing and all her mates are the same.. Back in my corner lol
  10. I was taking to my brother the other day about this, I don't feel old exactly and he's younger than me, we've both got teenage daughters, and we are what we hoped we'd never be... Embarrassing dads lol There's some kind of fun in being an embarrassing dad when our daughters have friends around, why? Lol I genuinely thought I'd be "with it" when my daughter was this age, but most of the music is shite, I've no idea what instagrams all about, and I don't want to start on the make up lol...
  11. Again.....thats the downside of football these days........years ago your average man in the street could go along to the footie of a wknd as a ritual part of his working week......today its not possible for everyone regardless how much love they have for their club........and like you say Lab through no fault of your own its only natural you dont feel the same affiliation with your club.........shame really. Before it was all seater we used to pay around a tenner to stand in the north...........tickets for me and my boy to go and see the Everton game this month just set me back a long un !!
  12. A freind of mine went on either Runaround or Cheggars Plays Pop and sat next to that bird out of Dollar and never shut up about it....probably still dragging himself round the bathroom now cheer up mate....you could be the proud owner of a Jim l fix it badge Haha.. We were flown to Glasgow, me my partner on the show ( Clare) she was a good laugh, and the strictest teacher in the school ( Mrs Ash).. She was ok up there though and took us for a Macdonalds ( there wasn't one in Exeter at the time so I suppose it was a treat lol.... We had dinner in the hotel with the twins ( martina and Mela

  14. Nice one Bry, I'll ring Mike tomorrow, it'll be out if Exmouth.. For me a weekend day, I'm just flat out at work at the minute.. I'll PM you next week mate Cheers Kev
  15. Children's TV nearly ruined my childhood.... I was on an episode of Fun House when I was 12, I had the same hair cut as Pat Sharp lol... I got a bit of grief back at school obviously ( although I won and brought home a windsurfer, which was never used, a wax jacket, a gold chain, a trip to Alton Towers, a clock radio lol.. The prizes weren't great) Just when the ribbing started to die down a letter came through the post " congratulations your episode of Fun House is going to be re run"...... b*****ds..... They sent me a bum bag lol.... I was around 14 by now and attempting g to be cool...

    Carp Soup!!

I'm not sure but I don't think he likes kebabs either lol...
  17. I'd agree with you there mate, I'll buy Fin a kit and get up to watch when I can. But I by no means support the club... They are the only team I've followed and it hasn't always been success ridden.. Now there's lads on here that go all over the country to watch their team they are supporters without a doubt.... I also find a lot of supporters don't play, every weekend for me was filled with playing the game.... It is UTD fans who are tarred with the glory hunter tag though, where in truth people of our age group would be Liverpool fans if it was glory you were after back when we were kids l
