The old " I'll only have a couple, love"....9 hrs later your in a state like Tarquin lol... done it many a time I went to get a Chinese one night went in ordered it called for a pint while they got it ready ended up standing in for a lad on the darts team had a few more forgot the chinese till it was to late went home expecting a bollocking -- and they`d delivered it .. ..another time went to wales for a show Saturday morning said to the mrs see you sunday night I got home Thursday.. The dogs quivering when a rabbits about to bolt.. The swing tip straightening out when bream fishing on the canal ( 20 years ago lol) The smell of pipe tobacco ( brings back old memories) When you smell something ( can be anything) and it reminds you of something you thought you'd forgotten.. Saturday mornings when I occasionally have a lie in and the kids climb in bed with me and missus and watch spongebob or some other rubbish lol.. The look on my lads face when he hooks a decent fish, and the look on it when he tells anyone who'll listen lol.. Windy dark nights, Cold frosty mornings Long summer evenings Misty mornings when the sun is just breaking through and the fish are blowing.. The smell of bitumen Getting the log fire going well.. Really belly laughing, especially if there's a few of you when it become contagious lol

As most I remember it like yesterday, I was putting the roof on Plymouth Art College when I got a call, we went down to the van and stood and listened to the news.... Without doubt the biggest event in my lifetime, unbelievable, sad beyond words, and the changing moment of out lifetimes... I visited New York many years later when works were just beginning on ground Zero, and the size of the space left was unreal.. I stood there for a long time... The bloke and his mates were pricks D, they spent around 2hrs spinning round and round infront of us where we fished, soaking our gear and generally ruining it, when 50 yard downstream there was clear water..even going down the far side didn't bother me, but when you've got a bloke turning in circles infront of you to make bow waves then jumping off them right where your fishing it does get a little tiresome... We packed up early, and they started soaking out gear whilst we were weighing in.. No need IMO

He soaked all of my gear whilst I was helping with the weigh in Stewie... He was trying to provoke all afternoon along with his mates, I think everyone done really well to keep their temper tbh

What a f***ing prick Stewie... He can't prove f**k all though, there was 20 of us on the bank and he hasn't a clue who threw any stones... If any were thrown at all, I didn't see any being thrown anyway...

Same as our school Gnash, we had a good football team but we weren't posh enough to have a decent rugby side lol Played in a 7's tounament at St Peters school, it was basically our football team lol.. We were dicked every game, had players off for tripping, fighting, arguing with the ref lol.... they were glad when we were out in the first group games and back in the mini bus to scumsville lol...

its rugby Kev, you can drink in the stands! I know mate, but we've got my mates gold cards, includes members bar.... It might be a little nippy in Febuary lol.. The last game I watched up there, we didn't bother with our seats, stood on the pitch side and put Fin up on a wheelie bin... It was right beside the bar and pasty shop... Happy days lol...

With a little girl at 5 and another at 14, plus a boy in between its always gun in my house lol... I wouldn't have it any other way, there all good kids really...

Same as you Wilf, played a little at school, but I was a football man... Over the last couple of years I've enjoyed watching the odd Exeter game though, and always enjoyed watching internationals... I'm looking forward to the boys coming down for the Bath game, Ossie and Johnny can watch the game me and Stewie will meet them in the bar lol..
