San Diego is our end town, after your recommendation mate...and everyone we have spokrn to hete say it is their favourite US city... a little drive on the Pacific Highway abd a few days in the sun...got a good few more weeks exploring yet, all being well

Seriously in love with the place mate...we've ended up in a mountain cabin in thr Smoky Mountains tonight, its blown my mind again...im.going looking for a bear tomorrow, I've checked and they are still active, it was 14 degrees when we arrived here at 5pm (usa time)... bloody hot for January

Ive never experienced such kindness from people. Sat in a bar with my wife and got talking to 2 blokes sat beside, turns out one is the head coach of the Bradley Braves college team. A little later the rest of his family turns up and we are talking to his sister and brother in law.. the coach asks his sister to arrange us tickets for the game on New Years Day, she takes my email address and sure enough sends us 2 tickets for the game.. we went yesterday evening, sat right behind his family who made a fuss of us, decent people, who offered us an experience... But it doesn't end there

Got to Nashville early yesterday afternoon, mammoth drive the day before from St Augustine in Florida to Chatanooga in Tennesse, right through Georgia, about 7 and half hours driving with 1 break, I loved it tbh .. stayed the night in Chatanooga and only 2 hour drive through the mountains to Nashville .got a room for 3 days here...I thought I knew what Nashville would be like, but I don't think anything can prepare you for that first walk down Broadway..it is truly amazing, for any music lover this place is unreal..I think 3 days will be enough for us, but we

Haha..that's a blast from the past When I was a young teen had a mate at school who was black, he knocked for me at the house with another mate who has braces on his teeth..my dad answered the door, he was an intimidating bloke and pretty feared on the estate, he swings the door open takes a look at these lads..shouts up the stairs "Kev, Kris Akubusi and some kid with scaffold on his teeth are at the door for you!" Haha.. different times, but jogged a memory

If you like a spiced rum, try Lugger... its my favourite, made in Dorset I think but you can get online, only seen it in a few shops. Im not a massive fan of Kraken personally....ill drink though lol

I feel the same mate, its overcoached to the hilt! When goalkeepers touch the ball more than midfielders, that tells its own story. Hardly watched any games this year, and not watched MOTD once, which I'd watch religiously over the years... I find the game boring to be honest.

Lol.. God knows what Fin spent as he organised the wagyu to be delivered from Japan, certificated the lot...mental kid! Lol I reckon for us the Xmas dinner was cheaper than normal, we always host a load Xmas day and boxing day..its been great to not have to worry about anyone else and rhe stress we put ourselves under for 1 big roast, basically.. Not sure ill soend Xmas home again mate..

Thank you mate, yeah its been brilliant so far... pick our truck up at 2pm today from Miami then we hit the road and see where we end up. Think we'll probably head south once we've done New Years in Nashville, staying along the gulf coast and try and keep in the sun, the wife loves the sunshine plus I've still got a rod here so ill find a few spots along the way... If I see you on your boat ill give you a wave mate lol

Had our last day on the keys yesterday, mission was to find Fin a big fish...we were a bit under-gunned when we finally found them, 4 runs on the "big" rods all smashed up... mental power, probably groupers..then he had 2 runs on his light rod fishing for snapper... God knows what they were, put they ran for the horizon and nothing was stopping them.. Boxing day sandwiches in the sun and the best sunset Ive ever seen... made Miami now, staying here for the night then starting the trip to Nashville over the next few days.. https://youtube.com/shorts/CYZzT-GUuik

Christmas day surf and turf... Finley had A5 waguu steak and Maine lobster tails delivered, that was amazing. I got a full rib of beef and cut into steaks, a floridian lobster tail and prawns.. roasted a chicken for non fish/beef eaters... was amazing 9

No grouper yet Sean, that's what I was aiming for when I caught the shark, when I first hooked it I was sure it was a grouper as it just felt huge! Lol
