she doesn't Bush rabbits , what else can I say ? No insult intended by the way...

ide say he's a good little rabbit dog by any man's standards. I take very little credit for bringing him on though. It just seemed to be in the genes. Toolk to ferreting like duck to water, very good nose. Sharp little dog on the lamp and works cover all year round with my mates bushers. Not afraid to take the odd "slap" in the line of duty either . In short... I can't fault him

I always liked the look of your bull x in your avatar . Is there hound in the mix, or just bull x whippet ?

Bitch should be ready to stand in the next week. Fingers x all goes well. Sire is dog in my avatar. A good little dog. Well bred from working lines. Bitch is also well bred and an honest bitch. Hasn't taken a backward step . Very intense bitch. I know this x has its draw backs but Should make exciting , handy little dogs for the small fields I hunt or maybe a handy little tool for a terrier man if breeding holds true. I'm just hoping all goes well.

My vet always gives ivermec . given orrally with syringe straight Down the throat and that's how I administer it rather than I.v . But far as I know once the first dose is taken from bottle it has a very short shelf life .(I might be wrong on that one ) . Raymond off this site put me on to a good wormer called noromectin , you can buy it in a agricultural shop, same active as ivermec but far as I know has a longer shelf life. Like ivermectin and its cousins It's also for cattle but its a pour on job. I find since your applying such a small dose to your dog externally I.e poured on from arse

no use to you loon but anyone living in or near dublin... springvalley meats in coolock. 1euro a kilo vacume packed into kilo bags. its 1 euro if ye buy 30 bags or 1.25 if ye buy less.the mix is minced chicken carcass, beef , heart and liver. i think their starting to put greens in the mix now. wouldnt cost much to add a bit of brown rice into the mix yourself and a bit of fish oil. my dogs are thriving on the stuff

Add On D. Deal Wheaten Bitch Antrim
brenner replied to brenner's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Yeh , I copped that too wedgey . Suppose that rules out the idea he is selling cause he didn't know what he was getting into and ended up with too much dog to Handle. -
like title says. It's definitely not a show bred bitch by the looks of it. 2 year old I've no interest and know nothing about the bitch or seller but I know people on here are always on the lookout . Might be scrap being passed on or might be genuine probably worth a phone call for anyone on the lookout though. A.t.b bren

brenner what way did the pup work out for youi just had him for bushing wedgey and if i got the odd dig out of him it be a bonus but it was looking like he new his real calling in life so he went to a more suitable home. Never did find out how he turned out though. A.t.b -
sorry. Didnt read question properly. Ide agree with above posts. If u have whippets on the outside ide go for a purpose bred busher .
-
Could be a usefull allround rabbiting dog but all depends on what whippet and what Bedlington in the x. That to me would be the deciding factor above all else

Every day, bar one or two. Also i try alternate the times to keep them settled in pens. My dogs never know what time they will get out at or expect to get out every day. I find it keeps dogs from getting excited and whining or barking at certain times cause they know its time to get out. Learned that the hard way because of unforgiving neighbours

i say fairplay if your dogs catctching day time ones , given proper law ect. Ect. Just out of curiosity, what x or breed are you running ?

a fine looking animal. Some crackin looking dogs lads..how is he bred magwitch ? Sired by Gen strike while the irons hot to a Gutchcommon/Nimrodel beddyX....what % beddy magwitch ? -
Goes to show there is no black and The majority of Bedlingtons ive worked have been far from mute, noisy feckers, above and below, plus ive rarely owned one with a jacket worth mentioning, something Bedlingtons are renowned for.I owned a dog a couple of years ago that would not rein in,hit a scent and tally-ho,then many hours to locate the ignorant twat,he,s now a pet,the vast majority of the ones ive bred and grafted are perfectly biddable and rarely get lost on their bushing forays.goes to show the diversity of any breed.
