    lol well I thought as much, just thought it would be alot easier to see them that way. Figured if it was just a lamp and no gun or dog they could hardly say ur poaching , not as if ur guna position the lamp and run down the beam like a maniac urself lol

    I don't doubt it mate, I got FAC though so don't fancy losing it for poaching lol! On 1 side is a guys farm I know, then this park, then the other side is my permission. Choppers are out regular and the guy I know reckons wild life officers in 4x4's park up on the track and check out all vehicle's coming and going asking what there doing up there! Think most people round here who like lamping "rabbits" travel over the bridge lol

    Down by me I have some permission that Border's a massive park, Margam Park if anyone's interested. Apparantly is covered with deer, now If I was to go down with a lamp just to have a look as apparantly there are hundred's down there would there be anything wrong with that ? Not taking a gun or a dog. I can envision getting a bit of stick even though not even doing anything.

    I have a 12V 7AH SLA battery but no charger at the moment! Was wondering what charger I need to get ? Just any 12v battery charger or a specific one ? Halfords has one for 60 quid! Bit salty for me lol, also seen a 12v 5AH charger in homebase for 30 What's the 5ah for on the charger ? Does this make a difference on which one to get ? Cheers

    Which lithium did you get mate the 14 AH one ? I was thinking the same, 22AH might be over kill but its only about £40 more so duno whether to go for it lol! Going to pick up the Deben Tracer 170 and a lithium soon Where did you find was the best place to buy ? The store on here seems cheapest for a lithium battery but don't do the variable lamps

    Cheers lads I know the lithiums lighter but feck me they aint half expensive lol! With Arthur Carter, striker 170 and deben 12v 14ah shoulder battery £149.95 or the same with 18ah battery - £159.95 sound alright ??

    Sounds like you want something small and nippy mate! A whippet cross should be handy! beddy whippet x grey should be a cracker as already suggested! Or a 3/4 grey x 1/4 collie, supposedly good rabbit dogs, depends what you want them for. I have read a bit cos interested for when I get my 1st lurcher, I quite fancy something like a Deerhound/grey x collie grey, incase they ever lift the ban for edible quarry If I didn't want it for bigger stuff a beddiexwhippetxgrey is what Id go for

    Hi guys, just looking for some advice as to which lamp and battery kit is best to buy Been looking at the lightforce 170 plus battery kit 12v then various amps , as far as I can see, the higher the amps on the battery the longer it lasts right ? Are they all 12v ? I know lithium batterys are lighter, is this the only advantage as there much more expensive. Where is the best place to buy a set ? I need lamp, battery and obv a charger for the battery! It will be used for lamping with my rifles and maybe some dog work in the future appreciate any advice , cheers
