    yes they can make fantastic parents but like in many birds sometimes parent wont rear,cocks get aggresive to hen sitting on nest,parents mutilate young especially when ya put a ring on them thats why you need to cover any rings you put on,but usually good parent i had 10 pairs last year and bred 105 bullfinch mutations bred the most in britain last 2 years by ioa report

    yes she is looking sorry for herself mate,looks like she needs some picking up, give her some baycox for a week paul followed by plenty vitamins try and put her in a double breeder as in a single cage will not help the recovery mate if it does not pick up send me a message and ill send ya something for her

    had a home made fox trap set in some bales 2 years ago got there billy was in the trap totally destroyed the trap and what an hassle getting him out,also there well known lamb killers

    i dont really mind as long as dog does his job,but if i had to pick it would be smoothe haired, hate plucking them rough out in the summer but like i say long as it works doesnt really matter

    foxes will survive without rabbits thats a fact i have several places that hold no rabbits and the nearest rabbits i have found are atleast 3 miles away but this place holds plenty of foxes also went to a place last year on an estate keepers shoot snare and trap every rabbit they see but as from a post i put up last year we had 12 foxes over the weekend there so foxes will thrive without bunnies as there is plenty of other prey about
