    My Patts 5 month old and he's killing rats and I think he would kill next doors cat given half a chance but he has been hunting rats since he was 4 months old, I would say get him out there

    My 12wk old Patt bitch is a little bast**d,Ive never come across this before in a pup of this age,its not a normal pup so to speak it totally ignores all forms of communication like whistle,s/squeaks hand claps and even it name,at 1st I thought it was deaf but thats not the case done severl tests and the little responds to a squeaky toy,its food bowl rattling etc,it just wont come when you call it,it just runs straight passed me or acts like Im not even in the garden All the pups Ive had in the passed have all been puppies if you know what I mean seeking your attention and approval all the

    thanks for all the advice good and bad,Im not really into beating my dogs regardless of weather or not there just a tool for a job,to me they are also part of my family,yes they will get a boot up the arse from time to time as and when required.Im finding that a stern voice and a yank on the lead is starting to do the job just nicely I have no intention of breaking his spirit Thanks everyone

    Took the 4/5 month old Patt pup for a walk to day just round the park so to speak and he started to pull on his lead and start barking and growling at other dogs,anyhow after a while he settled down so I let him off for a run, a women came along with a cocker spaniel and the pup went straight into it,I had to pull him off and pick him up there was no damage done and I apologised to the lady,he is around other dogs all the time at home and up the farms and he's never like that when his hunting. What do you reckon could this become a problem or shall I just not take him to the park

    We have been using it for 3 yrs, I ordered them to many mates who also use them with pleasure. As good as any others, quick, easy to use. There is only one problem - cannot locating under the electric fence. ok mate thanks for that

    Heres a couple of pics of my 17wk old dog and 8wk old bitch, the dog is coming on nicely already doing rats and sqrirrels and he's digging out rat holes and going well into them The little bitch is showing all the signs of being a real confident dog very happy with both

    I just carry on walking,and dont make an issue out of it with the dogs if ur calm there calm and quietly call the dog (works for me )
