  2. Not a fan of really tight beams myself. Seen some very narrow escapes ?
  3. The results would probably have come about sooner, if some of those owner/breeders hadn't culled half their original litters ?
  4. But do you need a blitz just to lamp bunnies?! ?
  5. That makes them just terriers then

  9. Just seen this. Totally agree ?
  10. This is where I don't get culling pups at a really young age, that are bred for sport/performance. By culling say 50% of the litter, you are obviously cutting your chances of breeding from the best pups by 50%, therefore making your original task/goal far longer than it should/would be. I know many people won't have the time or premises to run on whole litters, but alot of people do and did, and a few people getting together to do so, would greatly reduce the length of time to establish good lines of dogs. A bit like greyhound breeders then maybe?
  11. Nah, he was talking salukis, and how they knew which ones to keep or cull. Common practice apparently, amongst those arabic chappies he said ☺
  12. I said much the same thing when desertbred informed people on here that it was well practiced where his family are from, and they can tell which pups are going to be better than others. Absolute bollocks! f***ing impossible to tell out of a newborn litter which pups are going to be better than others! Culling at a young age, or even newborn, is obviously going to lengthen any project when it comes to sport/performance dogs
  13. See, now I don't even know how to paste and copy, or whatever the term is, never mind alter words to suit one's own dark desires! Aaaye, you're one to watched blackie, one to be watched! ? ............ ? ?

  16. With this hot weather, and looking at the names currently browsing this thread, I'm finding myself making rhymes. Ie ten bears, two crows and a shaa a aaark in a peeeear treeeeee! ?. f**k all to do with salukis like, just humouring myself ☺

  19. Yes, quite a bit quieter actually. If those power issues get sorted, then I'll be sniffing about for a new one
  20. Just seen your post rimfireboy. I borrowed a mate's HW100KT 3 times before I bought the 110. The 110 was a better rifle for me. Scoped up and with a bipod there was a fair bit of difference in weight and balance. The 110 being far better. That's what I found anyway ?
