Correct mate. Greb, yer man above is completely correct. Every living species has perpetuating it's own species inbuilt in it's dna, EVERY species. Travelling a couple of hundred, or a few hundred miles, looking for a mate, will be totally normal for any big cat, whether it's in india, africa, nepal or northumberland

It was. Though £500 aint too bad I suppose, compared to what has been asked for coursing bred pups. I don't get why coursing bred dogs command such high prices, compared to some similarly well bred lurchers. Paricularly given the reasons why a lot of these coursing bred dogs jack, quit or whatever the term used is. Dogs bred from lied about, bigged up parents, which are not as good/successful as made out by said breeders, or ran regularly enough to determine how sound they remain, before they are bred from. Sorry lads, a bit off track lol ?

Yep, £600 for a kc whippet pup is reasonable. Was just browsing some pup adverts/sites last night, world's gone f***ing mad, the prices are f***ing absurd!!

Just checked mate, you can get lactol for cats as well. Might be a good idea to get some of that into her ?

Melted pig fat? What's the reasoning behind that mate? Not a cat expert, but I would've thought 4, 5 or six small meals of meat and cat food, spaced out a couple of hours apart for next couple of weeks, then cut it down as you would for a pup, be fine. Like I say, not a cat expert, but think you've done something worthwhile. Don't like needless cruelty of any sort ?

Sully said it's 56lb. You said it doesn't look 90lb, inferring that someone had said it did. No-one, apart from you, mentioned 90lb. I agree with you though, she looks a nice handy size. Some greyhounds, even the bitches, are too big a lot of the time ?

Reading a bit more into when and where from, the romani first came to britain, I believe you're more than likely correct mooch. But I can't understand, or find, any real evidence of, if they actually did, english/british crusaders bringing saluki types back to britain with them in the 12th century.

Reading about the history of these dogs and salukis, it seems pretty clear that arabs/persians brought saluki type dogs to india, which mudhols, kannis etc are descended from? They do bear a very strong resemblance to salukis, especially some of the smoother types.

Seriously mate, I'd get her to a 'respected' vet. In all probability, if you tried it yourself and hurt her, it could easily estrange her from you for the rest of her days. Not in general, but in circumstances that might demand 'close' inspection etc. We are taking the mrs dog to have his done this monday coming. He doesn't like his back legs, rear end, tail area etc being touched, never mind examined, by us. But he's ok with our vet.

Yep, definitely a dog. A mate's niece has a great dane like that one shown. He's 34 tts and remarkably racy, but with a very strong head. Almost totally jet black except for a dot of white, about the size of a 5p coin, on his chest. Striking looking dog. Re people looking out the window; 'thought it was a horse'. ? ?

Lol, you see those wet markets on you tube mf? Me and the mrs watched quite a few of them a few months ago, couldn't believe what we were seeing! I said on here just after we watched em, I will NEVER buy another meal from a chinese takeaway ever again. They been handling animals/food that way for a couple of thousand years, maybe longer. They aint going to change those sorts of food handling/hygeine methods after just a few generations in more civilised countries.
