£38 including shipping etc. Got mine at 1/2 price. But I've seen a few different prices and offers. Mine was straight through to HUUSK.

Well bred saluki lurcher pups

Ah right, I was just thinking of other possible greyhounds that might've been added to the coursing lines. ? -
Yes mate. Bit of a wait, and something went wrong their end. But a quick call and it was sorted.

Bought one about 7 or 8 weeks ago. Well made, great in the hand, sharp as f**k, and is keeping it's edge very well. Deals very easily with cooked meat, raw meat, all veg etc. No complaints whatsoever. And the ad came up when I logged on to this site.

My son's dog's dam is just over 20", sire is 21". Plenty of whippets, dogs and bitches well over 20". Seem to be more common in the south of the country for some reason. Smallest bitch I've owned was 20 1/2". Oh yeah, forgot to say, he also has a whippet bitch, 21" 3 years old. She comes in season once a year. ?

Seen a few youtube vids with afghans/tazi in, in some of the mountainous regions that they're native to. Looked a fair bit different to the modern show strain.

Belting little dogs mate, and great for kids, well anyone really, but they do like to 'snuggle' up, especially with the youngsters lol, and the kids and whippets thrive off it lol. ?

Kin el, I thought the valley bronson would've tracked you down and snapped your rods by now! ....... ? ?

Nimrodel, nevedith, cockrow, etc etc, all had laguna in their bloodline/pedigree. Go back far enough, and it'll be in practically all whippets that are about today. @poxon My son's current whippet is 'cyangrange' prefix, but has collooney, oakbark, laguna and a few others in his pedigree. If you go back far enough, and check up on stanley s wilkin, 'tiptree', that'll give you plenty of info about the bloodlines etc. ? Yours in whippets, shaaark lol ?

Did the resulting offspring go into the coursing breds? -

You're not wrong mate. Back in the day, late 70's early 80's, the bigger greyhound races, derby, cesarewich etc, would regularly be on normal tv. Sadly, all gone. -

Just thinking aloud really mate. ? I do think scurlogue champ would've been the better dog to use though. He obviously had more nutural stamina, as well as the required speed. -

Thinking about it, if speed wasn't an issue, would'nt scurlogue champ have been a better dog to put to these coursing breds, as he was a better distance dog? -
Been listening to about 10 different versions of that, the last few months. Have a listen to 'alpha blondie's' version of it wilf. Seriously good. ?

I remember reading something about ballreagan bob going into the coursing lines, a good number of years ago. Is he the only greyhound that's been added to these coursing lines then? -

Yes, I was forgetting myself there for a few moments, Mr Magoo lol ?. So what you're saying then, is the original saluki lurchers have evolved into the saluki 'coursing breds' of today, via mostly more saluki and a little bit of greyhound now and again, being added to produce the coursing dogs of today? -
100% with you there mate. Weihrauch being a premium brand/manufacturer should absolutely make sure that the guns they send out are as potentially problem free as possible. But I, yourself, a good mate of mine and countless others, are experiencing more or less the same problems the last few years. And, as you quite correctly state, these air rifles are certainly not cheap!

Right, so the purebred salukis that have been bred in this country, for the last say 50 years, are no better than saluki/coursing bred lurchers? And if that's the case, what's different to a saluki lurcher over a saluki coursing bred, or are they really the same thing? Sorry about the 'geeky' questions, magoo, but you are the main saluki enthusiast that's on here regularly lol. ? -

Can someone explain to me the useful, working difference, and how/why, they differ in working ability, between saluki lurchers, saluki longogs, and saluki/coursing breds? Not being funny, just keen to know, as I have little knowledge of saluki crosses/types etc. -

Eh? Don't talk in riddles mate! Haven't a clue what you're on about, and that's rare, considering our conversations! ? -

Been thinking of one if these for a few weeks now. Not had a pcp since I sold my 110 ST a couple of years ago, due to the power issues, that loads of people have had, and are still having. Was going to get the 110k about a year ago, but started reading reviews of them having the same problems! Shame, as I loved everything about my 110 and was even more eager for the 110k.
