  1. Thanks b b, I'm just trying to ascertain whether he's really saying the original 'bowline' dogs go back to the 70's. ?
  2. The original 'bowline' dogs. I'd just simply like to know if they go back to the 70's. ?
  3. 3rd time lucky? Do these bowline dogs go back to the 70's?
  4. I'll ask again, do these bowline dogs go back to the 70's?
  5. They norfolk type lurchers phil?
  6. Bowline? ? Lol Sorry mate, I'll have a word with myself! ? ?
  7. I've had three 1st cross whippet/greyhounds of that size, and they were very good, tough, honest, versatile dogs. It's a cross/type I get on well with, nothing too complicated. ?
  8. Yep, all you'd be doing is pumping out first x whippet/greys. Might have your name as the breeder, for example 'hancock lurchers', but it's not a line, just a 'type' or cross.
  9. f**k knows, my head's still reeling from the valleys banter! ? Just to add, I'm probably not best qualified to answer that question, as I've never been a breeder/peddler. ?
  10. As others have said mate, it won't be a line, just a first x type.
  11. So these bowline dogs go back to the 70's?
  12. Who's going to win, with fury v joshua then greb?
  13. Don't know. Seen both of them at a couple of shows in the 80's, that's about it.
  14. Lol I was born about 4 miles south of the valleys, but spent a lot of time up the valleys. And still have friends from the valleys. But I've never asked any of them if they were born with the ability to yodel, srangley enough. ?
  15. Couldn't tell you, I'm not from the valleys. ?
  16. No need to be obtuse mate. ?
  17. If you're not from the valleys, you'll never understand. ?
  18. Well, not sure where he was from, but jeff fenerroli's name was mentioned, paul travers, but think he was from newport way? And a couple more besides that. But it was years ago, and LOADS of water has passed under the bridge since then, so I might be slightly wrong? Plus, a couple of the fellas I knew are now dead, and the other one, I still speak to when I see him, rarely, is now about 70.
  19. I didn't know the names of the fellas from seven sisters. But the fellas from my way used to dig with a couple of fellas from there, and a few other fellas from a few different parts of wales. I've never really been very interested in terriers and digging, but when we used to talk to some of the older guys, you sort of get swept along with their enthusiasm. That's all it was for me really.
  20. Can't say it does king. I didn't know them, just the fellas that lived near me.
  21. A couple of older fellas I know, used to bother with a couple of terrier men from there. That was back in the 80's though. ?
  22. Thank f**k for that! ?. So where you from then? ?
