Where is the stats to say more folk are getting into it than leaving? I'm not sure that's right!!I'd have said that lack of game could be down to increase in BOP, different farming methods and weather to be honest. Come on mate. . . . . . Folk leave for a number of reasons. . . . . but aside from the flash in the pan hunters for who it is just a phase. . . . . think about all of the genuine hunters. . . . they guys who stay the course. Every year more folk come of the age where they can get out and do it, then come of the age that they no longer can. That's what I meant. S

Starting A Shoot Up

First you need to get your members and decide how much each person is willing to spend. Then when you have the total you need to divide that up between bird stock, feeding, fuel, materials for building pens and feeders. Start small and you can always increase. -

Funny though Lab, though I've done it more times than i'd like to recall i've never ever felt like that. Quite the opposite to be honest... You have a deep sense of conscious 'of what might have happened' and your best only to recall it with humor and banter to take the edge off... Taking the Michael out of a situation, especially with a real dark humor, sure helps you for next time and I've certainly never thought of anyone indebted to me... I suppose you look at it differently if its your job and not a spur of the moment life saving moment. You might not think that the person you saved

Never been lucky enough to save someone's life, must be a great feeling to have though knowing something you done had saved a life. However that person may be should be in debt to you forever. Which leads me to an old guy I know.... An absolute gentleman he is. A marathon runner and all round able bodied man all his life. Well he is retired and for a long time he has trapped/ shot rabbits on an estate not far from me. One day in Feb, few days after the shooting season he decided to go and bolt some rabbits. It was a Saturday and he was feeling fine then all of a sudden he took a stroke. Down

Oh so the world is changing because we had a wet summer last year lol, behave lab. We get runs of good summers, the odd great one and runs of bad ones. Been that way all my life. Can you remember the funny postcards of rain, snow, sun all in the one day? Have you heard the saying, if its raining, give it 5 minutes....... It's easy seen who works indoors on here. If you reckon the summers are not so different then I'm afraid your deluded. We live in the UK, of course it's going to be raining a lot of the time. But summer is ment to be good weather with a little rain, last year was constant rain with breaks of sun. It was also very cold last year, especially through the nights. I can remember in years gone by I was out in the rearing field, tap aff working away, having to bit birds at night because it was too warm to do so during the day, going to check birds at 11 at night with a t shirt on and having to park c
