Well i read on Facebook today that Tarquin was turned down for no less than 4 jobs today....i'm sure he wont mind me telling you this as we are all a big hunting family..... Why are you so hell bent on proving that there not the main TB carrier and a cull wouldnt matter. Theres other reasons like 'theres far to much of the f***ing things' and when theres an over population and numbers are not allowed to be controlled you start to get problems as well as the effect they have on other species/ countryside. I've said it before the general public really couldnt care about TB...if you asked the first 100 people in the street "Would you like to see badgers culled to stop the spread of TB in cattle" youd get a mixed response, possibly leaning towards a 'NO' for the cull.

Beat me to it Malt........Phil if it was going up with inflation then really we cant moan. I'm not sure of the exact cost of renewal at the moment, about £50 the last time i did it but how can it jump from that too £200. Its daylight robbery knowing fine well anyone who wants to involve themselves in shooting will pay through the nose......another step to eventually banning it. Be lucky to shoot clays in 10 years time the way they are going..... -

Aye exactly if youve got plenty money you wont give a shit....what happens to the folk who dont have that kind of money (me) to be throwing about though and need the guns alot more than some stalker firing a few rounds every year? No, but you pay road fund licence (Tax) of £200 odd every year. I'm not saying I'd LIKE to pay £40 a year - just saying in the grand scheme of things it's not terrible. And you have to pay for a new car licence every 10 years. Yes thats to maintain roads and such..........if you want to go to the clays or rent shooting you have to pay too but you dont have to pay for a renewal off your license. I never knew you had to pay for car license every 10?... Nor me till I read if you let your licence run out you can get a £1000 fine. Check the expiry date on your photocard. Only costs -
