Well had a cracking day.... Checked birds in the morning then headed off to the beach. Sat with the girl and a couple of mates, BBQ and cracking weather. Now enjoying a couple of ciders watching BGT.:-)

As I said Scotland for me we were pretty poor...the last 10 mins hardly anybody could control a ball or keep a hold of it for 2 seconds. By the way I'm not getting carried away...on another night it could have been the usual 2/3 but we defended well. Too little too late!!

Not wanting to be controversial Misty but ive had loads of teal on barley fed ponds mate Controversial or not your correct. I've had more teal than mallard come to a pond on barley. Lots of different reasons for it actually.

Don't kid yourself they just kill one and run away. There every bit as deadly as a fox. Duno if we ever see em at work they tend to be running off with 1 and no sign of other dead. you know when charlies been coz theres dead everywhere, you can see where its started a load with the heads bit of and buried then rest hardly have a mark on them most we lost was 200 odd in 1 day from a vixen with cubs.
