Suppose ??I thought it was a whippet x terrier I thought he wanted to add whippet terrier I sort of get what you mean if it’s a mooching only dog. but wouldn’t that cross still be handy little type to have about they would bush, work warrens an run the lamp an probably have a crack at most stuff having a bit of terrier in them definitely be handy

Whippet greyhound with a bit of size would be nice over that give a bit of stride an speed

I think one of my ex girlfriend’s years ago was a alien id been going out with her for a month or so one day out the blue she started on at me saying about hunting being cruel an how farm animals shouldn’t be confined it was only then I realised the bitch was from another planet an it’d be cruelty to the human race to keep on plowing such a species I dropped her like a sack of rotten spuds to go back to what planet the alien was from

Could of been who knows exactly I wouldn’t guess tbh just bred from dogs that could do the job without keeping starting back at the beginning. Come on mate I don’t need to know your life story I’m glad your happy with your f1 I think your taking any post on here personally like it’s aiming just at you it’s a general reply any time I’ve commented on someone else’s reply/post on here your replying to my comments ??As for do I work mine your answer is yes mate i enjoy lamping/mooching as often as I can an the odd bit of ferreting I’m not out 7days/night aweek and before you ask is my dog a sp

Couldn’t tell you mate what the breeding of the beddys in mine was/is id be a lieing c**t if I made out I know all I know was the f1 I used was a good un an could do what I was after with proof ??The best bitch out the litter I bred was then bred on to a another long line beddy cross there was a outcross border/beddy in there about 20-25yr ago that Lurcher was bred to another f1 that was used as a foxer an that had proof with that end result is the young bitch I’ve got now just proven worker to worker bred how about yours? Let me guess a courseing greyhound x a Rambo descendant line beddy ?
-
Read back through what I’ve said fella ive not said there won’t be any in England is what I’ve said is the likelihood of them being good courseing greyhounds if they were any good the kennels would keep on to them for breeding its cast dogs that weren’t good that are given away or sold cheap to get rid.a lot of people with a ex track Irish bred greyhound will Blag it being a courseing greyhound
-
I’ll try an explain why I’m a little confused you want a f1 knowing not many are bred out of dogs that are actually worked most are lied about what the beddy is doing just to breed litters because they sell an what the greyhound is about you want a f1 because of 50/50 parentage your mates a terrier man that works beddys that wants to put his working beddy to a courseing greyhound if he can find one not many if any good coursing greyhounds are available if a courseing greyhound is good there be kept an bred from at the kennel that courses them it’ll only be Irish bred ex track failed dogs blagg
-
I’ve never owned this cross bull beddy my opinion would be Hybrid vigour bred from dogs that can handle more than there means pretty regularly bred to dogs that can do the job for the jobs in hand without keeping stepping back to the beginning with a f1 an hoping for the best as there know workers id imagine they would they would certainly be more powerful than a f1 beddy greyhound have more jaw power, weight behind em to get the job done quickly they’d be a hard ol cross that’s for sure but handy lamp dogs if your interests don’t lay on rabbits as your main bread an butter

Sturdy looking dog that phil ??

I was talking to a sheep farmer a good few yrs ago his land backed on to we’re I worked when I was in the poultry trade he had a couple of border collies an a huntaway he knew I was in to the Lurchers his huntaway was the first time id seen one in the flesh it looked a right specimen tbh very pleasing on the eye first thing I said bet that would make some nice Lurchers he said watch it work an your say different lol watched it work it worked well I thought it seemed very responsive to watch but Jesus they ain’t half vocal! When he’d finished working the dogs he said see what I mean you wouldn’

Bill wid yaz cud c**t on ti il hav yaz no 4 nothing yaz cowardly baster yaz translated bill would you could count on it mate ?
-
It’s the never ending circle mate none of us have the answer
-
I think nothing is guaranteed Fred no man could say what the outcome would be accurately it’s all a gamble ....be it a f1 to whippet or greyhound or Lurcher to Lurcher breds many people have different ways of what they look for in a pairing some breed for looks some for type some just for the job they want or expect a certain cross to do I think the gamble on your odds is all the same
-
mate if you put a whippet your bitch still be producing skatter breds what ever way you look at it as you’ve added another ingredient in the pot can throw all sorts you could get rough/smooth dogs that look like greyhounds dogs that look like none peds or whippets dogs that look like beddy greyhounds dogs that look like beddy whippets you could end up with short roach back dogs long back dogs, good feet shit feet. Mate no ones different we all the same ??
-
You have to pick through the poo to find in your heart of hearts what you believe is the right gamble/risk to take that applys to any cross be it f1 or scatter bred Lurcher to Lurcher mixes. look at my white bitch that didn’t make it for me bred from the right gear that could do the job but didn’t make what I was after quite a few people that see her run said she’s a decent dog but I didn’t feel she was as my expectations were different because I know the breeding and via the previous breedings capabilities
-
I’m not trying to pick a argument or out I’m just saying in general but your argument/comment if it as any meaning behind it is on its ass there because it’d make you a hypocrite because last year you were on about breeding out your f1 bitch to a whippet as your slowing down if you did breed it’d be a skatter breeding same as lurcher to Lurcher bred
-
The thing is though look at all these decent Lurchers out there there of mixed breeding none are f1 finished article but doing the job regularly none are f1s if a f1 was the finished article everyone would have one but saying that the base blood needs to be there to start with the fact that the base blood is found wanting now ie beddy, collie, bull it’s far easier to go lurcher to Lurcher because you know it can do what you want than keep visiting the beginning it’s like every f1 of any cross you ask any one that’s had or got one there say could do with a inch or two or be finer built or a bit m

Well technically it was just over a year it was a joke to be honest looking for a decent f1 stud you wouldn’t believe some of the turds I was offered all wanting silly stud fees I’m not even going to go down that road tbh only when I spat the dummy out on a working dog group one of the admin on there knew the type I was after the bloke gets on here from time to time pointed me in the right direction
