That’s it mate gotta do what suits you An your needs if it suits no point in re inventing the wheel or for any one elses needs. for me bedlington xs an collie xs hold the to much collie suits me lovely ? smallest drop off collie is more than enough for me in the bedlington hybrid mix for what I need from the hybrid I’ve not noticed none of this headstrong bedlington stuff or this sulking collie stuff that both crosses are renound for been really plain sailing really easiest bitch I’ve ever trained far easier than bedlington xs in the past and I’d say easier than the mother collie x bitch tbh i -

You will buckle to a drop of collie in your bedlington xs mate mark my words it will happen even if it’s a out cross to what your already keeping for the job you do as bedlington blood can only go so far on the limited resources that are out there that are actually decent -

I’ve found the cross a pleasure to own really easy going easy to train to a high level if needs be an make good loyal all round hunting dogs if the right ingredients are used an it gels definitely a master of none type tryer of all can’t really see my self owning another type/cross tbh -
Can’t be assed to keep upsetting people is the real reason over dogs because there so easily offended by giving them some truths they don’t want to hear or except as some truth behind it in what I’m saying deep down they know there is some truth in there in what opinion I offer that’s why they fight it an get upset in the first place ??
-
Agreed mate. I feel amused when I see adds for sale for young bull bred dogs saying make someone a great rabbit dog when the dogs only 8months old in the add not doing what I got the dog for in other words the dogs spitting them out because I chuckled it on to young An it didn’t like taking a pasting because it wasn’t isn’t mentally, physically ready for the job in hand
-
Fishing rods broken mate ?I still don’t rate peddling old feckers nothings changed there though but noticed a lot of people on here get upset when you point out there favourite peddler don’t half nock some dogs out that amount to nothing or are bred out of nothing they get so offended by opinions over the thinter web
-
You got it fella exactly that! No need to even think about getting off the fence because it don’t benefit me ??
-
Then they jack on them!
-
No problem with crufts if that’s what they want to do an it makes them happy they can crack on! I’m only interested in my own mongrel dogs any way no real interest in what other people have got or if I think it’s fit for function long as I’m happy with what I’ve got I couldn’t careless
-
depends on a number of things. I see a lot of lads jacking on there own dogs! because they listen to the glory that’s spoken over the internet so they get dogs out to young say from 5-8months an expect such a young inexperienced young dog that’s not mentally ready to be doing the same as a ready made seasoned dogs there for creating problems for there selfs and get disheartened if the dogs not doing what they hoped the out come would be by out matching the young un this time of year is by far the worst time for it as all the gear is clued up an fully fit after surviving the winter and coming i

Best way of saying it without offending anyone blacky least that way when you say flavour people see it as general chit chat an not your bringing disrespect to there favourite cross as you always get someone or people who’s a complete flake about these things -
That’s it fella always gotta keep ya eyes open for a bargain ??
-
Bargin fella for 100 bar ???? The floor area is bang on the right size gives the dog plenty of room to stretch out when laying down don’t think there’s a need to put kennel bed boxes in there really just insulate it well add a dummy insulated roof in the bed area 3ft tall so it gives you storage above an some rubber flaps on the kennels bed area job done ??I’ve seen people add guttering to the back of these with a slim line water butt as well....handy for cleaning out I’ve also seen people mount the kennels on 1in x1inch metal box section to stop the wood soaking up the piss some great ideas

Saluki bull greyhound is not really my flavour but get the right blend of ingredients the possibilities are endless I know 2 different guys with the cross anything available the dogs will catch it tough cross proper workman’s cross but definitely one man one dog cross people say adding saluki blood makes a dog untrainable I call bull shit on that! One of the guys I know has trained his really well retrieves to hand rabbit birds or hare track any amount of shot deer you can chuck at it same with shot fox were as the other is more a point an aim merchant but still a good dog in its own right wit
