    i assume you are talking about day time , not lamping fox,s at night .if this is true then more mag is better , but my opinion is at night more mag less clarity in other words get,s darker . WHAT MAG DO OTHERS USE. AND I WOULD,T THINK OF TAKING ANTHING AT THE RANGE AT NIGHT.

    if you got your S. G .C you are half way their . first thing to do is try and go out with same one and watch whats what ( MAY BE SAME ONE ON THIS SITE NEAR BY CAN HELP YOU ). safty is top of your list .then you need same were to shoot , and what for ,rabbit ,fox etc then what calibre , its a different ball game to shotgun,as for what rifle to have is mind blowing same people say this and others say that. i (PERSONLY USE A 20CAL (204) ) ,FOR FOX, BUT U CAN HAVE 222, 223, 22,50 and so. availability on ammo, is another thing . im sure their be more suggestions on their way later .

    i got a good friend done time (3yrs) when he was released signed a declaration not to have any firearms, ammunition, replica,in is possessionsfor the rest of his life. he tried many times for his S G C and refused .he got pi--ed off after the last one witch said if any more applications be made will be dealt in the same way. he joined BASC and whent for it again , came back again refused , rang BASC and they told him why they refused him .gave him a soliciter number (ill go stait to point). took them to court and won had is s g c and fac in post at end of week. cost £800 all in .SO WHAT

    have a look at the isuzu T F model had 1 for 5 years no problem their . 35 mpg better than the rest on fuel parts ,reasonable. got mine on ebay then for 6 K only 77,000 miles on it . GOOD LUCK.

    HI Dan , the first thing to do is go and do the rounds as many gun shop,s as u can and get the feel of things, not every gun will look or feel the same as another person do. try and visit a few shoots ,(most clay shoots are on a sunday )and im sure their will be same good people their to give you a go , (well they do down my way ) it would be a good ideia to say what kind of clay shooting you whant to do. sporting ,skeet , down the line , ect . the size of barrel length as that all pay,s a big part on what gun u whant. its a lot to take on board on what to do. so take your time and GOOD L

    HI MATE i have the 204 rem in the vsf , had it about 3years and is a good bit of kit , as far as i can remember i have only lost about 3 charli,s (i have missed a few )dew to only just nicking them . like leeroy said they do blow up quick on bone , but any were else they are dead .the good thing is they very rare exit the animal , witch i think is good if you shoot were ther is a few sheep about,(SAFTY IS PARAMOUNT). THE GOOD THINGS ARE .its cheap lo load , very little recoil ,and quiet with mod on . BAD THINGS , the spring loading mag fecking useless , never have one of these againg.

    HI DAN . NOT THE BEST PLACE TO BUT IT, MOST PEOPLE PUT IN THE CORNER OF THE ROOM . IF NOT USEING THE WORDROB WHY NOT TAKE THE BACK OF , THEN IT CAN BOLTED TO WALL, PROVIDING ITS AN OUTSIDE WALL ( OR SUPORTING BLOCK WALL) THEN IT WILL NOT BEE SEEN BY WONDERING EYES.MUCH EASER TO HAVE IT STANDING UP .
