    20 br v.nice but you would probably have to run it as a single shot as unlikely to cycle through a mag.Am using 17 rem with 30 grain Bergers on fox to 250ish at 3900 fps without probs unless something farts in the field in which case all bets are off. i do agree their 6BR\17REM single shot it would be , it saves messing about trying to catch the brass ( no ejector ). been thinking mcmillan a5 tac stock krieger barrel, bat action jewel triger . .

    what about the 20 br been thinking about one myself , do around the 4000fps to 4200fps with the 40gr .

    Had a bad day Saturday Derboy had THREE RUNNERS,a 12-1 a 5-2 and a 7-4 and they all came bloody third. stick to dog training you seem to have moore luck .

    the most inportant thing twotwothree is to get same one to show you the ropes . its very easy to make a misstake and so easy for the misses or your children to lose your concentration , and allway,s check every thing before you seat the bullet head . i made a few mistakes when i started , iwas allways told to check every thing before you seat good advice that was for me , so i hope you dont mind me saying this to you . hope all goes well .

    hi john its not a br its strait 6mm same ammo as 243 just a diff case , got a taperd barrel done all the cleaning but not getting their . ilike to have it grouping tight . so its going for the 6mm ackly , hope to get it gouing over the 4000fpc. . same people why and i say speed rules just my opioning.

    i shoot the both john , mostly 204 the 6mm now again i think the barrel burnt out dont group like it did , geeting another hopefully 6mm ackly just waiting for a things to be sortted .

    3800 fps & 3900 fps, that's fast. What calibre are you using, .220 swift? John 20 cal (204)doing 3800 with 40gr vmax and the 6mm with the 55gr noss doing just under the 3900. I've not seen a Nosler 55 gr in .204 ? Their web site and load data only give a 50 gr showing 3400 fps max READ 6MM (243)JUST DIFF CASE

    hi brad , theirs no prob in taging along with me , as im only glad to help . i done this about 2years ago with my nephew and he has proved him self to me as to be trusted in a hide and out at night after charlie .so we will have to take things nice and steady . learn the safty and more safty.show you how the rifle works ,all about the amo and singes of any thing that could go wrong, shoot same paper (I prefer same milk cartons full of water )any way you got the just of it . iknow you are very keen , but it will came so just hang on in their .no prob with my fac as i have an open ticket . just

    it would depends on what bullet you are going to use if you go for a light wait say 55gr then it,s not much in it, but im sure theirs same one on here knows alot more on billistics than me ,. igot a 6mm (243) and that does around 3800fps with the 55gr and i havent got 2250. but the book say,s about 3600 to 3700. for this so not alot in it . hope this helps
